I would say this. If any of us were in some stupid position where you had to spend twenty-four hours a day in some compound, and only got out two or three times a week....then we’d take every single opportunity to get the heck out of the compound. The sad thing is that you can figure it’s an easy $100k an hour to venture beyond the White House fences.
That’s not just some compound. It is the most sought after address in the world and has all the amenities necessary for luxury living. It is no hardship to live in the White House.
You may be right but I still remember the years on end that my wife and I didn't have a vacation of any sort. Then again, I'm not the POTUS.

Times two, since he and his faux family take seperate vacations almost always.
A compound with it’s own gym, movie theater, bowling alley, full service dining room, maid service, butler service, concierge service etc...... I don’t see a lot of reason to leave often. I could get used to living like that.....
I think I could suffer through it.
He spent a billion dollars or more to get there. Why does he want to leave so badly?
If I didn’t know better I would think he was loco. (Who am I kidding.)
