After a meeting yesterday with Harry Reid (D-NV), Sen. Dianne Feinstein learned that her controversial assault weapons ban mess will not be part of the gun control bill package heading to the senate floor next month.
The AWB could be offered up as an amendment, but the bill was already considered a long shot, as senate democrats will be facing a competitive election cycle for 2014. Many face constituents back home who do not support such legislation.

hee hee, Maybe my letters worked for once. OUR letters
You are right, of course Joe, and we all should note that her bill, which we will see time and time again, is the agenda of ALL those that want ANY inroads against the 2A, exposed and out in the open.
I’ll cheer when there’s a Conservative controlled Congress.

Any word on the Pop-Tart ban?
COWARDLY DEMOCRATS!!!
Supply is increasing and prices are dropping as we “speak”:

A couple days ago they were over $1500-provided you could source one.
Finding adequate ammo at a fair price is still a problem but it should be getting better soon.
Too sweet!

“The leftists lose nothing no matter what happens with gun control. They have nothing to lose. We don’t want to take their rights. They want to take ours.”
That is an important observation. Perhaps it is time to consider the tactic of threatening to take away more of their “wants”. For example, propose taxes on entertainment production, increased taxes on residents of urban locations, increased taxes on leftist foundations. Of course, these are just presented as discussion examples and I don’t offer them seriously as they are inconsistent with conservative beliefs but if something could be proposed that would put some fear in them and get them on the defensive, it could redirect their efforts and help stop their endless attacks on conservatives.
