The Russians Think We’re Wrecking the World on Purpose
PJ ^ | March 19th, 2013 | David P. Goldman

Posted on 03/20/2013 11:03:39 AM PDT by george76

In Russia, most analysts, politicians and ordinary citizens believe in the unlimited might of America, and thus reject the notion that the US has made, and continues to make, mistakes in the [Middle East]. Instead, they assume it’s all a part of a complex plan to restructure the world and to spread global domination,” writes Fyodor Lukyanov

...

It’s instructive to view ourselves through a Russian mirror. The term “paranoid Russian” is a pleonasm. “The fact is that all Russian politicians are clever. The stupid ones are all dead. By contrast, America in its complacency promotes dullards. A deadly miscommunication arises from this asymmetry. The Russians cannot believe that the Americans are as stupid as they look, and conclude that Washington wants to destroy them,” I wrote in 2008 under the title “Americans play monopoly, Russians chess.” Russians have dominated chess most of the past century, for good reason: it is the ultimate exercise in paranoia. All the pieces on the board are guided by a single combative mind, and every move is significant. In the real world, human beings flail and blunder. For Russian officials who climbed the greasy pole in the intelligence services, mistakes are unthinkable, for those who made mistakes are long since buried.

From a paranoid perspective, it certainly might look as if Washington planned to unleash chaos. The wave of instability spreading through the Middle East from Syria is the direct result of American actions

...

How, the paranoids ask, could two administrations in succession make so many blunders in succession? It stretches credibility. I wish it were a conspiracy. The truth is that we really are that dumb.

Obama gives open support to the Islamic theocratic powers in the Middle East. He isn’t pushing for liberty and democracy. His foreign policy is decidedly pro-Islamist.

WTF did we go to war against Libya? He boasted to the United Nations (essentially) “Mission Accomplished” about a year before our Ambassador was murdered in a siege on our embassy. He boasted that this was a “new way” of bringing change, without losing American lives (except we did).

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton boasted “WE came, WE saw, HE DIED!” when Momar Gaddafi was tortured and abused then ultimately murdered as a POW. That is nothing but a war crime. Who has even been charged in that case? I hear of no investigations, let alone our State Department’s support for the outcome.

Instead, they assume it’s all a part of a complex plan to restructure the world and to spread global domination

Here is the blueprint AGENDA 21

It not "us" per se, its the Globalist Banksters that have captured our government and own our leaders. They aren't Americans in any sense of the word, they hate free market competition, and have nothing but contempt for the US Constitution and everything it represents.

I wonder if this story is really based on Russian agitprop? Even if they don't really believe it, it serves their purpose to convince others that they do.

Communists always accuse their victims of the very crimes they are perpetrating against them.

I’ve always found ‘Spengler’ to be a nasty little neo-connish bankster/worthless POS! PJ Media has attracted quite a few, just as Breitbart and Daily Caller.

“Americans play monopoly, Russians chess.”

Not exactly. We won the Cold War by being smarter then the Russians. That was then, this is now. DC is no longer being run by people smarter then the Russians. It is being run by people more crooked then the Russians. Follow the money or more accurately, follow the debt load. That explains all the US actions. DC is being run by a bunch of crooks trying to steal money or more accurately put, trying to pay off their stolen debt.

BTW - Chess is highly over rated. Today's modern games allow you to command entire armies and deal with simultaneous real time events.

With an open and ovjective mind, I've done some research on this. I assume we are talking about Egypt.

Argument #1: If we stop giving them funds, they'll REALLY hate us more worser than now....

Argument #2: As long as we are still giving the money we still have some influence, at least on the military side of the Egyptian government.

Argument #3: We should cut off all funding until they get their house in order. We'll really feel stupid when Egypt turns their American supplied military assets on Israel. Besides, we have some budget issues here in USA.

Argument #4: Instead of Egypt, give the money to Israel to demonstrate our disgust with Egypts current regime, their rhetoric and foreign policy. We should not only not support bad behavior but diplomatically punish it.

Objectively speaking, #1 is the liberal line and shortsighted and stupid. NIX IT!. #2 - Their might be some fringe benefit to this IF we have some covert CIA/NSA assets keeping REAL GOOD intel on what's going on. Egypt has had some of the best intel on terrorists and Iran (besides Israel). But.....I'm still thinking about it.

If it were me? I'd cut off funding and save the money while simultaneously start moving massive forces in support of Israel (carrier groups) against Iran and Egypt. Traditionally, American show of force sends a clearer message than words and money.

We’re simply being judged by God, who’s given us a president we deserve.

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
