A Massachusetts principal has been criticized for canceling his school's Honors Night, saying it could be 'devastating' to the students who worked hard, but fell short of the grades.
MyFoxBoston.com reports that David Fabrizio, principal of Ipswich Middle School, notified parents last week of his plan to eliminate the event.

Yeah, why give out grades at all?

Just pass out honors to everyone Or better yet - select a gay bi-gendered trans-neutered femboy. Give the honor to it.
But of course the "My Kid Beat Up Your Honor Student" stickers would be perfectly ok.
And no keeping attendance, either. Some kids get sicker than others.
And, by the way, no sports teams, because some kids can't dunk.
And no cheerleaders, because some kids aren't as pretty as others.
And no band, because not everyone can have the same musical talent.
CELEBRATE UNIFORMITY !
Especially is it contains the word “gay” or “lesbian”, i.e. gay Biblical play at MA high school.
I don’t understand how normal people can stand living in that screwed up state.
He blames academic success on parental support. Time to ban parental support or keep the kids at school 24/7.
Don’t want to hurt kids self-esteem do we? Because life should be nothing but a series of happy events for everybody. That way, everybody is a success. Whoopee.
A lot of people are disappointed they didn’t make the sports teams. I assume honoring them will not happen.

No kidding.
What this ass hat doesn't seem to get is that cancelling Honors Night can also be devastating to a child who has worked extremely hard in a difficult class and excelled and risen to the top.
That PC sword cuts both ways.
Or is it OK because the honor students in his school do not represent a sufficient cross section of all races? Possible?
Also, I wonder what the National Honor Society will have to say about his decision.
