A retired Army officer wrote to a U.S. senator Saturday about his concern that the Department of Homeland Security is preparing to arm itself against the people of the United States.

Retired Capt. Terry Michael Hestilow posted his letter to Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, on his Facebook page, noting that Homeland Security has made a number of large ammunition, weapon and light-armored vehicle purchases recently and has refused to answer questions about them.

Hestilow begins by noting the large ammunition, weapon and light armored vehicle purchases recently made by DHS, as well as that agency’s refusal to answer any questions regarding those purchases.

If the Obama Administration thinks they’re going to use the D.H.S. as there own SS corp they she be reminded that they don’t want to go that route.

The U.S. military fought in South East Asia for ten years with everything at its disposal and what did it get us?

We court in Iraq and Afghanistan for How long and what did it get us?

These politicians fail to learn the lessons of history that you cannot win a guerrilla war when the populace sides with the guerrillas.

If I were DHS I would keep that in mind before they do something to start a revolution in this country.

“Court”should have been fought.This iPhone keyboard just sucks.But what can one do when you have no computer available.

Most is .40S&W so it’s not for overseas use. 9mm is used overseas.

Also doubtful we’d be sending premium hollow point ammo overseas, too easy to trace back here.

Can't remember where I read it, but there was something floating around the internet about the EPA getting ready to declare ammunition an "environmental hazard" as a precursor to banning all lead ammunition. So I think there may be some truth to the DHS stockpiling enough ammunition to kill every man, woman and child living in America five times as they get ready to shut down the ammunition plants.....

Since the Feds banned incandescent light bulbs, they have shown they can ban anything. Banning bullets, for environmental "reasons", will be a piece of cake for them. Once they have all the bullets, the people can have all the guns they want, what does the Fed care? They have guns AND bullets.

Not.

So they lied about everything but that?

“the Repubs got nothing on HRC”

There's plenty, but the gloves have to come off, political correctness has to go out the window, and a scorched Earth political approach used. Scare tactics, just like the Democrats consistently use, have to be applied to split off some of her natural factions. It has to be done in a way that divides her support among women. As a minor example, she has made comments about how she's ‘not going to sit at home and bake cookies’ - which is essentially saying that she doesn't respect women who make that choice. Make it look like she looks down her nose at stay at home moms. This is just a small example of an issue that can be used to divide one of her voting blocks.

She's made comments that can peel away some of the Jewish vote. She's made many demonstrably false statements over time that can be used to characterize her as a liar (e.g. named after Sir Hillary, attacks at the airport when she landed in the Middle East, cattle futures, etc. etc.), and then there's that Benghazi thing.

But, unfortunately, the Republicans in office seem to care much more about being liked than about doing what's right to protect that which is worth fighting for in this nation.

Even if you have to totally overreach and do the equivalent of Democrats

The exact same thing can be said of any DemonRAT presidential candidate of any race or gender, as long as said candidate supports ...

* government-funded abortion on demand

* government funded, mandated, and regulated “health care”

* government funded, mandated, and regulated “education”

* government funded “day care”

* “amnesty”

* gun bans

* banning any public expression of Christianity

... and basically any other massive, nanny-State, Politically Correct, multi-culti program or ideology.

The GOPe has been nominating Republicans who support all or most of those things, and they still can’t win. That’s because the people don’t trust the GOP, so Bill Clintoon’s strategy of faking one ideology and working the other, won’t work for the Republicans.

Why has the U.S. Government turned the U.S. into an immigration dumping ground? Simple...In order to divide the once united.

IMHO it is also to redistribute Americas wealth WORLDWIDE, and to bring the USA to it's knees for the sins of slavery. Zero and his Marxist followers believe reparations are needed but know it will never happen by "normal means".

And Americans have replied by stockpiling arms and ammunition also, far in excess of what the feds can stockpile, and that’s just the suff they know about. And the real bitch for the feds is how to deal with the world’s largest standing army that not only surrounds them, but lives amongst them. Those aren’t very good odds if you ask me. Don’t forget, some of the bloodiest, most brutal warfare Americans have ever endured was when we fought against our own.

It would be a real hoot if some percentage of that 1.6 billion .40 smith and weak rounds were deliberately tampered with, the .40sw is a notorious kaboomer in some unsupported barrels. I’m familiar with the .40sw and I don’t like it, the .45 is more controllable, the 10mm the big brother has MORE power.

The .40sw is a high pressure finicky cartridge pushing the envelope of case pressures or CUP.

Patriot Act III

Terrorist training centers within our borders shall be stormed, if necessary and all appropriate force applied. Lethal force may be used if active armed resistance is encountered and cannot be quelled by other means.

Prisoners, if any, will be duly questioned, and held for the duration. All rights normally granted are suspended under this provison.

Definitions:
Terrorist Training Centers: for the purposes of this provision shall be deemed in any location where one ore more guns are known, believed, imagined, or hoped to exist.

Lethal Force: for the purposes of this provision shall be deemed use of small arms, or heavy weapons - as appropriate - up to and including the use of armored vehicles - including tanks (specifically M1A2SEPs and M1A3 {when available}) surface missile strikes, and Hellfire armed drones.

Use of tactical nuclear weapons and long range missiles can only be authorized by Presidential Order, including Executive Orders.

Prisoners: are those individuals taken during an action, including family members, friends, neighbors, and passers by who are still living but without serious medical needs. The badly wounded are too expensive to our national health care system and would be too great a burden to maintain for any length of time. Rapid termination is authorized, unless public execution is warranted to deter other miscreants.

Hope springs eternal, and it’s valuable in these times for keeping an eye on these weasels while keeping a sense of humor, but, the big money is on HRC.

I think a lot more work than hope is in order.

You will know if HRC is involved because she follow’s a pattern.

HRC follows the Weather Underground playbook.

Find an incident, a spark to ignite the flame, ratchet it up to a raging inferno.

If HRC is involved it will be an attempt to recreate another “Rodney King” type incident.

Start looking for an uptick in news stories involving police misconduct, mainly against minorities, but any pattern of news stories involving police misconduct.

One that caught my attention recently was the ACLU’s “concern’ of military style weapons being used by police.

Watch for statements from the SPLC concerning “racism” being rampant in law enforcement.

Look for more and more extreme left wing groups, like Code Pink, voicing the same concerns as the right about there being a “police state established”.

I also expect there to be an uptick in news stories to gin up the Hispanics, mainly the militants.

I expect them to gin up civil unrest with all three groups, Whites, Blacks, and Hispanics.

I’ve hunted deer and elk since I was a kid, and have taken many with head shots...

Over the last few years I’ve practiced head shots as the most humane and quickest kill with no loss of edible meat...

Head shots...The best way to go...

Unintended Consequences...My favorite...

“I think a lot more work than hope is in order.”

I entirely agree, but what I wrote before is part of that work. I believe, without question, that where we are right now is the product of a >60 year effort to infiltrate, propagandize, and as Obama put it ‘fundamentally change’ the nature of the USA. As part of that process there have been many more ‘plants’ within the Republican party than most of us here would be willing to believe. Believe it. When one is driven by ideology, and sees their mission as a ‘war’, all tools potentially available will be used.

The point is that the road back may also take >60 years, and will require the same long term planning, subterfuge, and patience that the worldwide left has employed. The mantra of the left is always ‘divide and conquer’. Unfortunately, the same approach will be required to defeat the left, and it needs to start yesterday.

The U.S. military fought in South East Asia for ten years with everything at its disposal and what did it get us?

We court in Iraq and Afghanistan for How long and what did it get us?

Both of those wars were fought against an external source of supply, the Soviets in Vietnam and the Iranians in Afghanistan. Fighting the long guerrilla war without functional communications, a command structure, or extensive cached supplies, and against an enemy surely willing to use biological weapons and drug gangs is not a pretty prospect.

These politicians fail to learn the lessons of history that you cannot win a guerrilla war when the populace sides with the guerrillas.

No, I think it is you who has failed to learn the lesson of history. The better analogy to the war you envision is the American Indian. They lost, utterly. You are also failing to learn the lesson of the Torah, for we were instructed not to be so tolerant of evil in our midst, not to mention the logistical preparations found in Exodus and Leviticus.
