You know, I’m thinking that it wouldn’t be so bad if I’m a victim of a “total identity theft” — right around the time the IRS, the CIA, the United Nations or the folks that run ObamaCare come after me.

She is being deported, but the joke is on us. Her children are American citizens. She can wait 10 years, then they can apply to bring her in under the family “reunification” provisions of our immigration law, which will allow her to return legally, wait five more years and apply for citizenship. Then we can support her for the rest of her life. I wonder if the judge who gave her 18 months for what she did has any idea.

If you have a teenager, it is now being recommended that you start running credit histories when they are 15 to give you time to fix a stolen identity.

I realize that this felon deserved more and that 18 months is perhaps not long enough for what she did. But the way I see it is that at least one of them got nabbed and got at least some prison time for this crap.

I don't know whether she will be allowed back in with a felony on her record. Most likely she will be back with another fake identity.

Identity theft is what Joe Arpaio constantly nails illegals for when he does workplace enforcements. That really drives the DOJ nuts.

The police called me in for a death inquest. It seems someone stole my identity and died of boredom.

Family reunification does not apply to aliens who are deported after being convicted of a felony. The children can bring in aunts and uncles and grandparents, but the mother will have to come back illegally.

I’m sure she’ll be back within a week after being deported. She’ll steal someone else’s identity.

"Their encounter came inside a federal courtroom in Wichita, where Cardona-Gonzalez, a Mexican national, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for possessing fraudulent identification documents. "

I wonder if Obama is listening?

My credit is so shitty that if someone stole my identity, they’d have to improve my score before doing any nefarious things with it.

Not really. In order to be permanently inadmissible, you have to be convicted of what is classified as an “aggravated felony,” which I do not believe this one was. And even then you can apply for a special waiver from DHS and be admitted. El Paso and Tucson (and no doubt California) are chock full of these folks.

Oops I was wrong. It is aggravated. But she can nevertheless apply for a waiver, and, as the mother of two citizens, will no doubt get one.

You get the award IMO for the funniest line of the day.
Thanks for giving me something to laugh about.

So twelve years of felonious activity gets you eighteen months? She could do that standing on her head.

The harm caused by illegals is monumental...

Everyone should read this story.

18 months, what a crock. Should be one year from when it started—minimum 12 years. Then seize all her assets, and sterilze her.

Isn’t there a restriction on bringing into the country relative who have criminal backgrounds such as she now has?
