U.S. Marines rattled by bullet shortage

Rank and file told to conserve as Big Sis buys by the billion

At least one branch of the U.S. military is scrimping and saving every bullet it can while the Department of Homeland Security is on a bullet-buying spree.

Marine Corps Commandant James F. Amos blames sequester budget cuts for causing the Corps to have to scrimp and save every bullet.

In a video to Marines, he says, “I ask you to save every round, every gallon of gas, that you take every single aspect, or opportunity, in training to get the most bang for the buck.”

“This is no time to do business as usual. Things have changed. The landscape has changed. I need you to be conservative in the way we do business,” Amos continued.

Sequester cuts do not seem to have slowed down the massive purchase of bullets by DHS. WND bas been closely following the department’s big buildup of ammo, reporting how DHS bought more than 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition over the last year.

Members of Congress are demanding the Obama administration explain why it is stockpiling a huge arsenal of ammunition and weapons. “They have no answer for that question. They refuse to answer to answer that,” said Rep. Timothy Huelscamp, R-Kan. Read more at http://www.wnd.com/2013/03/u-s-marines-rattled-by-bullet-shortage/#qyiaWao61ElUU0hD.99

Win-win

Making a habit of not wasting bullets and fuel pays off in combat.

With budget cuts they are scarce due lack of funds.

In combat they are scarce because thats the way it is in combat.

Marines have always “made do.” I know. I did it for four years. But this is disgraceful. The angry lesbian is hoarding ammo, probably to be used against us, while our warfighters go without. I have a bad feeling that this is a prelude to something very ugly.

Is the next civil war going to be between Obama's "civilian national security force" (aka DHS) and the U.S. military?

It sure as hell not a Win win in training. When training they shoot a hell of a lot of ammo to get to proficiency.

When in battle they do conserve ammo and fuel as they do know the supply is limited on the field of battle due to logistics.

Therefore, your post is not logical.

That’s right.

They might run but they’ll die tired.

“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Funny, the White House seems to have plenty of money to send Obama’s girls away on pricey vacations at taxpayer expense, and countless millions in “aid” to give to Syria, Egypt, and the Palestinians - and yet we’re told there isn’t funding for Americans to tour the People’s House or offer the Marine Corps sufficient ammunition for either training or combat.

Meanwhile, the DHS has more ammunition than it’ll use in ten years, unless they plan on wholesale executions of Americans.

Something stinks here. Something really, REALLY stinks.

Here is how the game is played The branch has a table of allowances. You make your five year budget based on this if you use it or not. All this is consolidated and given to the House Armed Services Committee. They provide the funds to make the ammo this year. The Govt plant makes the ammo.

Part of my active duty was under Clintoon... Endless govt shut downs, no equipment. However, this time there are the brown shirts and DHS. I agree as a natural skeptic, this is a prelude to tyranny by both legislation and force. I used to cackle at the Bananna Republic posts, thinking it couldn’t happen here... I may have been overly optimistic.

DHS may very be planning a coup to take over Washington DC, first they need to starve all opposing forces such as any resistance up and including the Secret Service.
I do believe DHS would not hesitate to shoot anyone in their path but I thing too many people are getting all wound up thinking DHS is starving Americans ammo supply, but of course they are but foremost is the plan to starve the military and police departments first so they can roll in several hundred MRAPS down Pennsylvania Ave.

Anyone heard of recent DHS hirings and training around or near Washington DC?

Oh they are, but DHS isn’t aiming at Americans, unless they get in the way of their ultimate agenda, control of America.

DHS may very well remove Obama and Biden, slip Kerry into the hot seat and then declare martial law.

I emailed Cornyn yesterday requesting a public response to the officer’s letter.

Guess we shall soon see if Cornyn really learned from KBH demise. He has been following closely to Ted Cruz since the election. This is not a time for RINO traits.

Well, I am not getting on any train. Nor are my neighbors.

This will not end well.
