If that scenario happens, when the economy crashes, then it might be just like the world envisioned in Solyent Green. In that movie, there is no food on the shelves, not much gas is left, only cold water is had, and electricity is so low that many times homes use candles and flashlights as rolling blackouts occur or the power runs out. Very similar situation. And of course, the government was killing off people who knew too much about their plans.
Imagine if on top of that martial law is declared?
Agreed. The city folk are in for a nightmare of unimaginable hell but even those like myself up in the mountains are gonna be in their sights also. Heck, I think everyone is gonna be in their sights at one point when the SHTF but the cities will be the kick off.
