Meanwhile, they try to pretend that God’s destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was based on the townspeople wanting to rape Lot’s angelic visitors (who had come to warn Lot and his family to leave) instead of what the scripture says: that the homosexual sin of Sodom and Gomorrah had reached heaven and God was highly displeased, to put it mildly. With all what the Pastor has espoused I think of the lady who came to Jesus for forgiveness of her sins. Jesus did accept the woman and her request for forgiveness but he admonished her ‘to go and sin no more’. Obviously the women’s past behavior was sinful and the actions of sin were recognized by Jesus. With today’s remake of societal values’ and I will suggest some ‘religions’’ there is no such thing as ‘sin’ which have been replaced by just ordinary earthly/human ‘wrongs’ to be covered over with social pablum of human acceptance.
I cant take this anymore. Why do conservatives let the fag agenda bully culture like this? Its funny that someone should say that faith is a Journey or process rather than a believe in a relatively fixed idea that is God & the bible.
The man seems to have it backwards as it is science that defines itself as a process. The only people who delcare science to be fixed are those who seek to accept only their Constitution.
Likewise the only people who declare faith and the bible to to flexible away from scripture are those who wish to twist it into tool for their own ends.
The law of the bible(the law of God) are written to resist such corruption, Science on the other hand has no laws as the bible or state understand them. Indeed what they call “laws of physics” are simply well tested theory’s in the strict eyes of science.
