WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Air Force says it cost $2.1 million to send two nuclear-capable B-2 bombers on a training exercise over South Korea that was widely viewed as a show of force in response to weeks of threats from North Korea.

And the Pentagon cannot make payroll. Over 750,000 DoD employees will be furloughed for 14 days, resulting in a 15% loss in pay.

Don't get me wrong, this type of show of force is precisely what the military is supposed to do.

But Sequestration leaves all the Entitlement takers unscathed, and punishes those who work for and serve this nation.

Obama speands that much almost every day with his Air Force One flights.

Think of it. The flight from the White House in a Marine Helicopter
Get on Air Force One to wherever he gose.

But the real kicker is that Security has already flown there to get ready for him. Another Air Force One goes there just in case, Two cargo planes carrying his car and helicopter, for his use, and another plane to take the Wookie where she wants to go while he is gone.

> “the decision to send the B-2s for drills with South Korea was part of normal military exercises with a close ally and not intended to provoke a reaction from North Korea.”

Yeah like they really believe that line of BS. Why are people do afraid to tell the truth anymore? I old think a genuine answer like “well you threaten to send nukes to strike our Capitol so we just thought we’d make sure you would never ever be a threat to us again, fat boy. Make my day...

I had an evil sister who was crazy. She got away with everything she wanted because my parent s know that any attempt by them to enforce any discipline would result in an all-out 100% craziness on my sister’s part. My sister seemed to have the energy of the sun. My parents had to handle all the ordinary jobs of life, which took everything they had. My sister was capable of disrupting anything for any amount of time and handling that was more than my parents could deal with, so they capitulated.

It’s the same with the entitlement crowd. Take 10% of their entitlement in Sequestration and there would be well organized Nazis picketing politicians homes and the capital. The news would cover it and politicians, especially Democrats, would be damaged. The military is like us kids who were not crazy. We got disciplined and said nothing; no fight at all. As a result the crazy sister took from us and although we resented it, we said nothing.

Will there be enough left for the Moslem Brotherhood?

Will there be enough left for the Obama’s family’s and friends weekly vacations?

Will there be enough left to pay for the child brothel
of the US Congress (supplied with children by ACORN
and the DOEducation)?

What will we do? [/s is this necessary?]

I’d rather spend $2.1 mil on a B-2 mission than $4 mil for Bammy to go play golf.

The B-2 flight probably cost the tax payers less than the Obama brat’s spring break in the Bahamas and Sun Valley.

“she dead now?”

She’s 64 and totally focused in on controlling the lives of underprivileged children in her church. On the surface it seems good, but man, is she ever in “control.” None of us have spoken with her except as absolutely necessary for decades.

The point of the posting is the extended and abnormal childhood of society’s takers. They get their way by being so vocal and physcial nobody wants to go to the mats fighting and politically dying against gay marriage, unions or whatever the takers are focused on.

hey I grew up with 2 narcissist parents and two narcissist siblings. Only my brother and I were close to being “normal” but we have both paid a huge price. I know what you are talking about. You said “had” so I thought maybe she croaked.

Yeah. It might come close.

These occupants of the White Hut create so much air traffic they might require a White Hut airport and air traffic controllers.

I grew up in highly dysfunctional family, but they all got better after I left home.

Nuking Pyongyang without warning and simultaneously bombing their military installations would be better for the people of NK than all the “aid” we ever sent there combined.

2.1 mil? Seems like a lot of jet fuel. Taking the entire cost of two B52’s and dividing by operating hours is bound to give some huge number. What if they just sat idle - would the cost of B52 construction have changed? Like all gov’t operations, the military is a money pit staffed with people who’s primary focus is to endlessly increase their operating budget.
