I agree with that. As some people get older they those their critical thinking skills. It’s just like they’re on auto pilot. Same thing day after day...it seems to me many are “dead” inside, tainted by life.

Obama's constituents lack the intelligence to make the connection. Didn't something like 95% of black voters vote for him? Not a smart group of people, are they?

Asians voted 73% for Obama. Hispanics 71%. Jews 69%. We have tribal politics. 59% of whites voted for Romney.

I think America will survive and ultimately win.

We are no longer the same country, Demographically, we have changed enormously over the past 45 years. We are being colonized by the Third World.

The U.S. adds one international migrant (net) every 36 seconds. Immigrants account for one in 8 U.S. residents, the highest level in more than 90 years. In 1970 it was one in 21; in 1980 it was one in 16; and in 1990 it was one in 13. In a decade, it will be one in 7, the highest it has been in our history. And by 2050, one in 5 residents of the U.S. will be foreign-born.

It is just possible that America will limp forward. Our news media are now fatally corrupted in moral and political senses. Our corporations are fatally infected with the poison of government contracting. Our schools are fatally infected with Marxism, secularism and atheism. So our children are not going to even understand what is wrong, just that they are not getting what they want.

It is going to be ugly. Very ugly.

As an aside, Turkey’s growing islamism is due to the die off/non-reproduction of the “europeanized” city dwellers. The islamic hordes from the countryside are outbreeding them.

Romney won the 65+ age group 56% to 44%. Obama won the 18-24 age group 60% to 34%.

Children are NOT natural socialist. “Sharing” is a learned behavior (overdone).

Looks like most of you recognize the damage that has been done and much of it will never be reversed. I will never see the real America again mainly because I'm very old. But I feel I will see our street troubled when the shi! hits the fan.

Will America survive. Maybe! Because we are losing our founding principals and because we are being destroyed from within. The communists Democrats are our worst enemy. When will America wake up?

Rand Pul and Allen West fight hard. Cruz is a tough SOB. Palin energizes the crowds. Just don’t know if there is enough of us left.

If Republicans bring back American jobs, people will vote for Republicans again.

I’m serious.

What do Republicans do, which people should support anymore?

The problem is not necessarily a lack of intelligence.

Stupid is as stupid does.

We did real well for the 200 years America was a production country.

Somehow we seem to be rapidly losing all that, by exporting our jobs and factories.

EPA, OSHA, EEOC, etc, regulation without representation.

He was referring to children, not 18 - 24 y/o. I agree that young adults are more idealistic and seniors more realistic. The seniors are also from a different time. The ones to come in the next couple decades might be voting quite differently, having grown up around larger government. How you vote also doesn’t necessarily indicate critical thinking skills. Some just vote R or D because they have their whole lives.

Agreed. Deciding to share your things (or charity) is a good thing, having things taken from you by force is not.

The “wisdom” of this world is foolishness, and much different than the true wisdom that comes from the fear of the Lord.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. Proverbs 9:10

I Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written,

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.”

20 Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. 22 For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

26 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. 30 And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, 31 so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

“In a sense Euro socialism “works”( I use that word lightly) because everyone in Europe is basically the same race. We are trying a race based form of socialism which is a recipe for disaster.”

European socialism didn’t “work”; it drove down their birthrates to the point where those countries are unrecognizable (in an ethnic sense) to any place our soldiers marched through 70 years ago. We are suffering the same fate, and for the same reason; “Euro-Americans” claim they can’t afford families, while imported “others” populate the nation. Wealthy whites are being forced to foot the bill, and middle class whites are being crushed under their share of the bill.

“What do Republicans do, which people should support anymore?”

That is why I think it is very optimistic to assume America will survive Obama; I personally think it died the day he was RE-elected. This country today bears NO resemblance to the United States of 50 years ago. The class, race, and gender warfare have successfully destroyed the WASP norms that made this country great (and I say that as a non-WASP).

I strongly disagree that manufacturing is that important.

Computers run the world right now, and it will only become more pervasive. As long as Americans can design circuits, write code, it’s going to be a bright future.

Besides, manufacturing is doing OK in the South for products where it makes sense to build here, rather than to ship here. The free market will always rebalance itself against every possible regulation that the government comes up with. Remember the free market cloaks itself in oppressive regimes, and becomes the black market. Higher risk, of course, but it doesn’t matter... the free market is the natural progression of human thought and endeavors at the macro level. We all tend to operate in our own self interest... even socialist politicians and bureaucrats. China’s government will eventually fall to the wealthy elite that is rapidly growing there.

If you want to stop the flow of jobs to China, where the free market naturally directs its resources, we need to cut our regulations and bureaucratic structure established in government. Eventually, something will happen that will trigger this return to freedom again. It took 40 years of creeping socialism to put Reagan in, but it did happen, and many thought we’d be stuck with the liberal agenda forever.

Just forcing companies to bring back jobs by regulatory control will never work. You would kill this country faster than the liberals. Prices will sky rocket, the economy will come crashing to a halt, innovation would die.

The free market has to produce a country like the USA occasionally, and it will have to liberate a people like the citizens of the United States from creeping socialism occasionally. The free market can be said to be second to only God in it’s absolute power of the guidance of world power.

I disagree.

Strongly. The GOP however needs to be AMERICAN.

Supporting American manufacturing, and bringing American businesses together.

The GOP was sold out to globalists. And they tore the heart out of the party.

Now that process is nearly complete.

China now exports more than America.

We have run the entire “globalism” game to its logical conclusion.

Bring back US jobs.

GOP, get with the program. America first!
