Thanks for representing all of us!
I will be watching for updates of your day there!
Kristinn, what sad news. D28Man and son and I join you and hundreds of others in mourning his passing. Standing shoulder to shoulder with Dr. Raoul (and you) all those Saturdays at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue during the Clinton years was a privilege and an honor - and a hoot!
Wouldn’t you have loved to see what he said to St. Peter as he strolled through the pearly gates!
RIP Doctor Raoul. I bet he will be celestially freeping - honestly, I don’t think death will stop him!
kristinn, Thank you for all that you do and have done!
Safe travels.
This is too bad. He was one of the best. He was always accurate in what he wrote, and usually had that touch of humor (when the situation warranted it). Fly high Doctor..
Well done, kristinn.
“She’s standing on a box”
Brilliant!!
Another legendary Freeper, gone from us. He will be missed. RIP.
Thanks for the informative tribute.
I met him once, at Crawford, Texas, I believe.
Oh, WOW, when he introduced himself, I just grinned and felt that I was in the presence of a really great person.
Just now catching this. A valued member of this great site is lost, he helped paved the way for all of us.
In 1998 I was lucky enough to have the chance to travel to DC for a conference and I made sure that I was able to join all of you on Saturday morning outside the WH. What fun! It was great to meet Dr. Raoul and chant with him. He did have a terrific whit that made me chuckle before I could begin chanting alongside.
All other Saturday afternoons, from my Chicagoland residence, I would jump on FR to see what happened. The reports always made my weekend!
Thanks Dr. Raoul! I hope to run into you in Heaven with all our FR pals where we can protest Satan!
What a terrific tribute to a great man—thanks for posting.
God bless and forever hold him dear.
Beautiful tribute, kristinn.
Rest in peace Doc!
Rest in peace Dr. Raoul. I stood with you as we protested Hillary Clinton who was running for the Senate in NY State. It was in Newburgh, NY down by the waterfront. We sang “Rich Democrats!!!” over and over as the dignataries boarded a boat at the river side.
I had many wonderful freeping memories, March for Justice being one. I still have my lanyarded March pass.

A wonderful tribute to a great patriot! Thank you for all your thoughts. I met the good Doctor in West Chester, PA, several years ago on a fabulous Saturday afternoon. He was truly an inspiration to the ‘troops’ gathered on the corner.
Rest in peace.
Sitting here with Mr. lisafab reminiscing about all the wonderful FReeps we all had together.
We could use a few more Doctor Rauls today!
Thanks for taking the time to share.
Regards,
TS
Wish FR had a “like” button. Wonderful to see so many from the class of 98 and 99. V’s wife.
My husband - FReeper "zelig" and I - were honored to have FReeped many times with Doctor Raoul over the years. We first met him in Kingston, NY in September 2000 when Raoul's "devil campaign" in New York during Hillary's Senate run was underway.
After that, I lost count how many times we proudly stood shoulder to shoulder with the good Doctor, mostly in DC and in NY. We FReeped the Clintons at the White House, annoyed and shouted at the liberal media at a few White House Correspondents Dinners (and occasionally at CPAC)... we rallied in the streets for weeks during the Bush v Gore recount (and after GWB won, celebrated with Raoul at the FR Inaugural Ball), and we protested Code Pink and other anti-war and anti-America moonbats several times in our nation's capital.
Doctor Raoul was the most brilliant, patriotic, creative and hilarious activist we have ever known, with a huge heart to boot. He is impossible to replace... losing Doctor Raoul is such a heartbreaking loss.
Rest in eternal peace, dear FRiend Doctor Raoul...
FReepers... please take the time to read Kristinn's magnificent tribute above. Also, do not miss tgslTakoma's truly wonderful YouTube video tribute to Doctor Raoul:
