Claiming that an 86-year-old woman is “near death” is a fairly safe, call, statistically ... but Queen Elizabeth may reach 100, bless her heart.
Wouldn’t the succession naturally fall to Charles?
No one has to plot to prevent William from stepping up to the throne. The law of succession is not a popularity contest; it mandates that the eldest son of the monarch inherits the throne. William will step up to the throne after his grandmother and his father die.
“The publication claims she is trying to sabotage Prince William and Kate Middleton from stepping up to the throne.”
Sounds like the writers of the tabloid want desperately to ignore the fact that it is Prince Charles who is next to succeed. Prince William will succeed after his father (unless the succession laws change or one or both men are somehow disqualified from ascending to the throne.)
I think I saw this movie. There was a “huntsman” involved if I remember correctly.
And I’m thinking to myself, what would Dr. Phil or Oprah suggest?
BTW, is Camilla still very ugly? In which case the "Plug Ugly Queen Rule" could automatically come into play and she could be beheaded. Nasty piece of work, that one.
If the Queen dies, Prince Charles is next in line to the throne, and Camilla, his spouse, would be Queen.
William gets the crown after Charles' death. Then, Kate Middleton would be Queen.
I'm not sure what Camilla would be, probably would be given some ceremonial title. They have never had a divorced person in the mix, So, she couldn't be called the "Queen Mother" (as she is not the "mother" of William), which is what Queen Elizabeth's mother was called, after the King died and the Princess Elizabeth became Queen.
Hummm. When is April Fools Day?
Who are these people. Is the magazine referring to Baron Carrickfergus and the Countess of Strathearn?
