When already proven wrong, just call it a ‘paradox’.
A short article, but a fine crop of weasel words:
“may explain”
“is thought to be”
“suggest”
“they tried”
“other plausible explanations”
“possibility remains”
“best guess”
“may limit”
This is a desperate attempt to explain why all their models are wrong and why what they see is the opposite of what they predicted.
Perhaps the ice is expanding because there has been no global warming for 15 years and it is getting colder in the Antarctic.
I will make it simple for the the Global Warmists.
1. Cause = Colder Antarctic.
2. Effect = More Ice (It works that way in my freezer)

Old news. They’ve been claiming global warming is causing more ice for at least 10 years.
We can’t win with these people. They move the goal lines at without shame.

Now, it's called "politics."
To measure this phenomenon would be very easy. All that would be needed is to measure the salt content of the new winter freeze ice of the ice shelf. This would precisely determine what percentage is sea water and new melt water. I notice the article did not explore this. My conclusion is they did not explore this area of research because they knew what they were postulating was pure BULL SH--.
