Politically and financially this is great news.

Weather-wise, I'm not so sure.

For at least half of the last 2.5 million years, the Earth has been in an ice age.

Not a friendly climate for human beings.

15,000 years ago, Seattle, my home, was buried under 3,000 feet of ice.

Absolutely agree. I have seen and heard discussions in various venues comparing our lives during warming or cooling. Warmer weather is more conducive to food production. Enough said.
