The Armed Citizen Project
The Armed Citizen Project is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to training and arming residents in mid-high crime areas with defensive shotguns, for free! In training and arming law-abiding residents, we are saturating neighborhoods with defensive weapons, and measuring the effect that a heavily armed society has on crime rates.

We are an organization that is not simply content to hold the line on guns. If the fight does not come to us, we will go to it. We are also training and arming single women in high crime areas, competing against gun buybacks, calling out anti-gun politicians as being pro-crime, and fighting the anti-gun establishment in general. We are pissing off all of the right (left) people, having a blast doing it.

April 2, 2013 It is with appreciation that I write this letter giving you thanks for your generous gift to The Armed Citizen Project. On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, staff, and those we serve, thank you for your commitment to the mission of facilitating the arming of law abiding citizens. As you have heard recently, The Armed Citizen Project has been arming citizens who live in areas with high crime rates and have a low sense of security. We are off to a great start and are committed to conducting research which analyzes the relationship between increased firearm availability and the comparable rate of crime. The impact we are currently making is incredible considering the small size and relative youth of our organization. However, due to the overwhelming response to our project, we have surpassed our initial goals and must be equipped to continue moving forward. In the upcoming weeks we will continue to arm law abiding citizens with shot guns, and we intend to arm an entire Houston neighborhood by the end of April. As we have begun to expand nationally, there is room to increase the number of citizens we are able to arm and the cities in which we are able to arm them. This is a very exciting time for The Armed Citizen Project! Your support of our efforts is certainly appreciated and your example means a lot of the citizens we are arming. I look forward to meeting you soon and giving you my sincere thanks in person.
