The story from yesterday...
A New York Democratic lawmaker is behind a national push that would force gun owners to buy liability insurance or face a $10,000 fine. The Firearm Risk Protection Act, pushed by Rep. Carolyn Maloney and seven co-sponsors, follows efforts at the state level to create the controversial new kind of insurance for gun owners. "For too long, gun victims and society at large have borne the brunt of the costs of gun violence," Maloney said in a written statement. "My bill would change that by shifting some of that cost back onto those who own the weapons

I think any member of Congress would be scared after what happened to my good friend Gabby Giffords.
My congressman made it very clear that he would not be hiding from the public after the Giffords shooting.

Wouldn’t it be, uh, ironic if the killer uses a knife.

If she’s not lying about the threats (a VERY big “if” with a liberal), I hope she’ll show some common sense, get a gun, and take an NRA class.

How many democrats in congress are now pulling strings like mad to get their spouses and other relatives set up in the gun insurance business?

Politicians need to remember that actions do not happen in a vacuum (except perhaps between the politician’s ears). Actions have consequences, and the populace, for better or worse, are reacting strongly to actions they feel are infringing on their rights of speech, etc.

Line from
The Good the Bad and the Ugly"If your going to shoot, shoot. Don't talk."
Further I doubt the threats are real. Phoney threats are a standard topic of worm infested turds Democrats who want to play the victim card. Mind you, it would not break my heart if someone offed her.

Now, now. She probably has her armed security guys and gals on high alert with their hollow point .40 cal tax payer funded ammo. Kind of nice to know that you’re paying for the ammo that might take you out huh? At least you’ll be able to see where your money went.

With the easy ability to record calls and messages “to ensure quality of service” I simply don’t trust these claims without a transcript, and the ability for some journalists to hear the recording.
An angry rant: e.g. “you deserve to be strung up...” isn’t a death threat.
