Michelle (the disbarred beard) IS a single mother, for all intents and purposes.

The Hawaiian's interests clearly lie elsewhere. Truly amazing that his brazen carryings-on with Reggie Love do not draw media interest.

Michelle's assigned task is to generate news stories touting the "macho" qualities of her husband. It's a tough job, but so far she has done it well. Lavish "separate" taxpayer-paid vacations are one part of the payoff. One imagines that there is a less visible, but more impressive "package" she receives to maintain discretion.
