people are simply losing interest. We hear about growth in the non-institutional population, a decline in the labor participation rate, people who are unemployed and want a job not being counted as unemployed just because they havent looked for a job in 30 days, How do they know if a person has not looked for work in 30 days ?

92,000 jobs were 'estimated into existence' in the CES Birth/Death model. There was a 39,000 job increase in travel and leisure employment, but no real people or real jobs to back it up.
Subtract 39,000 from the mumber, and you get the real unemployment picture.

The Drudge lede right now reads “90 Million Out of Labor” and links to a Zero Hedge article saying”People Not In Labor Force Soar By 663,000 To 90 Million, Labor Force Participation Rate At 1979 Levels”
