WASHINGTON | Two freshman Democratic senators from conservative states, Joe Donnelly of Indiana and Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, have joined the growing chorus of lawmakers who say they support gay marriage.

In separate statements released minutes apart on Friday, the senators said their views on the issue had evolved. They joined a rapidly growing list of senators who support gay marriage and the list now includes 49 Democrats, two independents who caucus with Democrats and two Republicans.

The next battle is whether people who are against gay marriage can be fired from their job because of that. And so far the answer is yes.

Translation: they think can buy votes if they say their views have evolved.

I heard Rush talking about an interview with Jeremy Irons at Huff Po. Turns out, Mr. Irons wonders what’s to stop a father from marrying his son to avoid inheritance taxes. Incest laws? Sorry, doesn’t apply, no procreation.

Mr. Irons goes on to speculate that lawyers will apply such creativity to gay marriage laws that you’ll be amazed at what is implemented.

What again was all that noise from Heitkamp about being a “different kind of democrat?” Turns out, she’s just another face in the liberal crowd.

Do they understand the concept of evolving - evolution means Groups of organisms, as species, may change with the passage of time so that descendants differ morphologically and physiologically from their ancestors. evolving - to develop by evolutionary process from a primitive to a highly more organized form. Evolving is not the best term.

The last real conservative Democrat was the late Congressman Larry McDonald D-GA. I’m tired of the media portraying Donnelly and Heitkamp as conservatives. And voters in red states like ND and IN should know never to vote for ANY Democrats period these days.

Donnelly’s election can be attributed to the jaw droppingly idiotic Republican candidate in last year’s election. The guy was comfortably ahead until a broadcast debate in which his performance set new standards for incompetence. This was the guy who stated that women only got pregnant from rape if God wanted them to.

this is the homosexual lobby and the homostapo behind the scenes putting pressure on Dems to go with their agenda or their careers and reputation is over.

Now they are on record then lets get these buffoons voted out and send a message to these clowns that anyone wanting this communist agenda in the normal states will lose their office

As a Hoosier, I think we miscalulated when we threw Lugar out of office without having a good replacement plan, and we ended up with Donnelly as our Senator.

Donnelly will occasionally be allowed off the plantation for show purposes, like he did in the symbolic vote on the UN arms trafficking treaty. But on any matter of substance, Donnelly is Reid’s monkey-boy. The democrat Senate campaign committee was his biggest donor, so they own him.

We definitely miscalculated by throwing out Lugar for Mourdock. Mourdock was an idiot. We have to be a lot better at vetting our candidates. We must have good candidates who are conservative, we can’t settle for good conservatives who are candidates.

You are correct.

Too many FReepers are excited to replace an 80% Republican with a 97% Baraqqi for 6 years.

To folks in other states who are going to toss their RINO incumbent, be sure to send the candidate to MSM boot camp with Dana Loesh, or someone similar. The journ-0-lists will destroy them.

Lest we forget re: Mr Lugar:

His yes vote on Kagan destroyed any hope of a filibuster against her.

Big advocate of Law of Sea Treaty as well as a few other UN missives

Evolving on global warming to support carbon tax.

I am proud to have voted for Mourdock. He made a stupid comment for which he suffered the consequences. Do not forget he was the ONLY State Treasurer to stand up for secured creditor rights when Dear Leader nationalized Chrysler, in effect giving it to the UAW and screwing secured and non secured creditors out of billions. He took Dear Leader and Chrysler to court in early 2009.
