We have classified ways to deal with things like that. But this satellite is uselessly tumbling and not of a mass or volume to carry a nuclear device.
Couldnt we just shoot it down with a missile before it activates
?
We have classified ways to deal with things like that.
So should we be worried about an EMP attack over CONUS?
Somebody correct me if I’m misunderstanding. In December North Korea put a 250-pound super EMP into orbit which can be activated by their satellite at any time and hit anywhere on earth, including the US through a hole in our south-facing radar defense.
That’s what I get from the combination of this article and this guy’s editorial yesterday, at http://www.familysecuritymatters.org/publications/detail/understanding-north-korea-and-iran?f=must_reads#ixzz2MBnGqAqR Am I misunderstanding something?
Do we have the capability of taking out North Korea’s satellite? And what are either China or Russia likely to do if we did so?
