Few years back 3 Blacks from NY were speeding through Georgia and got pulled over.
The Cop sauntered up to the car and snarled “Drivers License, Registration”
- the passenger said “You can’t talk to us like that, show some respect”.
The Cop reached across and sapped the passenger.
“What you do that for?” demanded the driver.
The Cop went up alongside his head, gave them a ticket for speeding and was about to leave when he reached in the back seat and clubbed the passenger.
“I didn’t do nothing, why did you hit me”
“Just making your wish come true”
“I didn’t make no wish”
“No, but a couple of miles down the road and you would be screaming ‘I wish that White MF woulda hit me like that and I would have shown him a thing or two’, So your wish just came true”.

Question as a noobie...is the reagen coalition also a Gannett Publication? Just asking because I knew the rule here about Gannett, but I wasn’t sure about it being only a link in a story.
From the looks of it, they’re a blog that’s stealing other peoples’ content. In those situations, I usually post the original story (or a title and link thereof) unless the blogger has actually added some value to the story.
When I was still in nursing school, my teacher’s name was Mrs. Feury and she was an RN with a masters in nursing. She signed all her work as Mrs. Feury RN, MA. Well one day imagine our surprise when this extremely large black women showed up in the office screaming for Mrs. “Furryenema!”

In a certain, unnamed culture, the old say B & B Towing, becomes BNB, of course I must Ax my wife/mother/father/ etc for permission to do something, and one of the beauties is “I was verbally conversating with.....”
Judge Judy shakes her head at a lot of the ‘words’ thrown in her direction and she will caustically ask what a word or phrase might mean. Byrd just shakes his head but she admitted the other day that she doesn’t question much anymore as the ‘new dictionaries’ just add it rather than people ‘correcting’ it.
Of course Judge Joe Brown just smiles and joins the ‘verbal conversation’.........
That is why I got out of the Asphalt Paving game in the 90’s, I had pretty much ‘mastered’ Ebonics and figured I was getting too old to learn a new ‘language’ (Spanish) as the unskilled labor force was undergoing a massive change - which does happen every quarter century or so....
