Via Politico’s Dylan Byers, who’s apparently been rendered speechless by this spectacle.
The idea here, I take it, was to show that supporting gay marriage is so obvious that even a five-year-old can arrive at the right conclusion if left to reason her way through it. That’s not how it comes off; you get the sense that this segment would have run for 20 minutes, with Krystal Ball nudging all the way, if that’s how long it would have taken to arrive at the favored result. I hope they keep this up and expand it to other hot-button issues. I’d be awfully curious to see what a five-year-old thinks of, say, abortion.

I typed the title in the search mechanism and nothing came up.
Let’s just move MSNBC over to an alternate channel for kids four to seven years old. Put up a couple of puppets to do the news. Interview anti-capitalists, a few environmentalists, and maybe a couple of anti-Catholic Church folks. You could keep all of the present hosts. Course, after 8pm, most of the kids would be in bed, and they wouldn’t have any nighttime statistics to help against the evil Fox News folks.

Personally, I would have asked the 5 year old to compare and contrast the subtle diffences in hair color between Pippi Longstocking and Anne of Green Gables

Well they have to find someone that will agree with them about gay marriage and who better than someone that knows nothing at all about marriage or life for that matter. Yeah it is disgusting. You can get a little kid to agree o anything by manipulating them because they haven’t been fooled time and time again yet.
Don’t forget gun control. I bet 5 year old boys would have very different opinions form 5 year old girls.
This would shut down donations real quick.
