Connecticut Gov. Savages Wayne LaPierre: ‘This Guy Is So Out of Whack, It’s Unbelievable’

Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy (D) ripped National Rifle Association chief Wayne LaPierre on Sunday as someone who reminds him of “the clowns at the circus.”

Malloy was responding to LaPierre’s criticism of Connecticut’s new gun restrictions, signed into law after December’s elementary school massacre in Newtown. LaPierre said the new rules won’t affect criminals but will only make things harder for law-abiding citizens.

“Wayne reminds me of the clowns at the circus. They get the most attention and that’s what he’s paid to do,” he said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “This guy is so out of whack, it’s unbelievable. Ninety-two percent of the American people want universal background checks. I can’t get on a plane as the governor of the state of Connecticut without somebody running a background check on me. Why should you be able to buy a gun? Or buy armor-piercing ammunition? It doesn’t make any sense — he doesn’t make any sense, thus my reference to the circus.”

Who is this fellow? Evidently he knows Wiecker, or Rosa Delauro? In any case EVERYBODY knows the NRA, and the supporters of 2A freedoms will NEVER back down. Remember, politicians: when you screw with constitutional principles, you screw with US.

I suspect that many people think that the Connecticut Gov. is talking about himself whenever he talks about the clowns at the circus.

Taking guns away from responsible, law-abiding taxpayers, while not addressing the real causes of gun violence lacks common sense and is worse than being a clown.

Preventing citizens from defending themselves in order to satisfy some desire for his version of a perfect world without guns is less than stupid. Plus it violates the Second Amendment rights of the citizens of our country.

****laws don’t prevent criminals from having guns. Why can’t they understand this?*****

The law is not designed to prevent criminals from having guns.

It is designed to be so onerous that law abiding citizens will accidentally break the laws and the state can then move in and confiscate all their privately owned (now deemed illegal) guns.

All this because an extremely stupid woman had to buy firearms for her psychopathic son.

She paid for it with her life.

Now the liberals want the rest of us to pay for it too.

Never let a good crisis go to waste.

How Stalinesque of you, Malloy.

BTW, which of these sweeping new gun control measures that you signed would have prevented the shooting at Newtown?

Freaking liar.

well Mr. Gov.

The History Channel has a series about bow hunters in super rich CT.

I guarantee that show and seriew will not be viewed by anyone in my influence. AND advertisers take note: supporting any CT tv series is TOXIC TO PROFITS.

These socialist idiots always try to destroy the person rather than discuss the issues, because their position
is indefensible.

It's also where a doctor who, along with his wife, maintained their house as a gun free zone, got a little visit from a couple of subhuman home invaders. When it was all over they'd tried to murder the doctor, did murder his wife and two beautiful daughters, and burned their house down. The daughters died in the blaze. You don't ever need a gun until you really need it. Then, if it's not there, you and/or your family members are likely to end up being made dead in one or more very frightful ways.

The governor needs to go ahead and pledge allegiance to North Korea, while it is still there. That way he can join a country that more resembles the way Connecticut is going to be.

Wayne LaPierre is a good man but I think Larry Pratt of Gun Owners of America is a better spokesman for liberty. He doesn't back down from debates and has eviscerated his opponents with his unapologetic defense of freedom.

"Why should you be able to buy a gun?"

For the same reason that I have the RIGHT to freely speak my mind.
For the same reason that I have the RIGHT to be secure in my belongings and papers.
For the same reason that I have the RIGHT against self incrimination.
For the same reason that I have the RIGHT to freely associate with those I choose to.

These RIGHTS are inherent in The People, by virtue of their very existence -- not granted by man or his laws.

On the other hand, the government has NO rights of any kind - only duties mandated by the Constitution.

1st Amendment is also under attack with "hate-speech" and "hate-crime" laws. (which only work against Whites)

Imagine assault weapon ban and large capacity magazines being applied to language. No shouting and you are only allowed to use certain words and there is a limit on the amount of words you can use at any one time.

Colorado day of civil disobedience set for July 2nd. Now we need one for Connecticut. Illegal edicts contrary to natural inherent rights will be ignored openly, flagrantly, and if the gestapo wants to slaughter innocents we can start the Doctrine of One Hundred Heads.

Governor Malloy needs to read the United States Constitution.

He should then apologize to Wayne LaPierre and immediately retire to something for which he’s more well suited - such as flipping burgers.

The governor needs to have thousands of gun supporters pay him a visit in front of his state house. Wear your old uniforms or medals if you are vets. Bring lots of flags, bring wives, children and grandchildren. Cowardly politicians respond to large crowds. Force multiplier—take lots of pictures and post on twitter, youtube, facebook etc.
