I AM the common man with a family who fights his as off everyday to survive in this country while helping friends, family, and neighbors do the same. What the hell do you do besides listen to the radio?

Rush makes good points, but he understands conservatism is dying and can’t be revived. Too many powerful liberals within the GOP! He also defended the indefensible GWB on many points where GWB had strayed. I can see him saying nice things about Jebbie in 2016 too if he is still on the air then.

Rush — and I don’t begrudge him for earning a ton of money — lives in rarefied air now. It’s been a long time since he was starving (well, maybe never) and a struggling, journeyman DJ.

He must get tired of listening to the “lower classes” blather on the telephone. Not many other rich people have to do that for a living.
