More than once wars have been started by accident, and Sen. John McCain, predicted that a conflict between the Koreas would be a “catastrophe of enormous proportions.”

Warning on “Face the Nation” that “North Korea could set Seoul on fire,” the Arizona Republican said that China is failing to rein its ally in. …

Yes it would be awful.

Why go to war with N. Korea over a little thing like a Nuclear Missile fired at us. We can absorb a couple with no problem. Better losing a couple of cities than fighting with N. Korea.

Yes. Folks sarcasm.

Dear Juan. We will not go to war with N’ Korea until after they have fired a Nuke, Not with Obama in charge, and perhaps not even if that nuke actually hits here.

China is failing to rein its ally in.

Not so sure how much of an "ally" China is anymore, China as well as Russia are condemning the actions of the little p***k dictator.

“Anything incorrect in what he says here?”

No, it’s true that an attack by the norks would inflict severe damage on Seoul, BUT it was idiotic for him to provide them with tomorrow morning’s news soundbite.

They WILL use his statement to rally their people against the south...guaranteed.

I wish this worthless senile old POS would just STFU and go away.

He’s 100% correct though. We’re not able to win another war while postmodernism prevails.

You're 100% correct too, but the high-testosterone, low-experience crowd here will disagree. I was present for Korea, Round I, and that was the beginning of postmodernism welded to our foreign policy. When Truman refused to let MacArthur cross the Yalu and kick China in the scrotum, America officially became the impotent "paper tiger" China and the rest of the world laughs at to this day. We've become the official international Meals on Wheels while our crucial national interests and territory are being challenged everywhere around the globe.

Mr McCain, you’ve oversteped my thankfulness for your service to our republic.

Please go back to your Arizona ranch and STFU. Please.

From the US perspective it would be a cakewalk compared to the last two Islamic invasion disasters,

Lets surrender now! We can’t win! If we pay them, maybe they will not hurt us! Heck, even France has bigger stones than this. I guess the North Vietnamese kicked all the stones out of John.

Kim Jong Un, if you want Huge Glass Parking Lot that glows in the dark, go ahead. We will make one asap.

Truman, the only president to drop a nuclear weapon in war, wouldn't drop one on Korea and you think this President will?

Be fair, Japan had no other Allies when the bombs were dropped.

Also the nuclear fallout would impact other countries, like South Korea and China.

Your probably right because of China. And the whimp factor. And because of professional courtesy one Commie to another.

The “Catastrophy of Enormous Proportions” already took place for this country in November 2008.

You'd have to drop a lot of bombs for problems like that. There have been MANY open air tests on U.S. soil. We're not dropping one on North Korea.
