“They have committed to staying in NYS, paying taxes, supporting the state’s economy. By buying Remington, now, customers end up contributing to the upkeep of the fascists in NYS government. For some, this is a matter of conscience. For you, it is not.”

I live in NY so I must be just as guilty. And dont forget all the guilty pro-gun conservative types in the big lib states. I would also like to leave but my job keeps me here as well as a disabled relative that depends upon me and my wife for support. Like Remington I CANT leave right now. We are not supporting the oppressors, we ARE the oppressed. Its easy for you guys to condem those who aren’t instantly mobile but some of us have little choice.

I am a NYS escapee. I understand your plight. If you want out, it takes time and effort. If you have personal reasons for staying, then you alone can judge whether they outweigh the intrusions of NYS government.

However, this isn’t about whether Remington (or you) have the right to stay, or good reasons to stay. It is about whether people will reward them for doing so. In your case, you are not in business to sell products to people who are vehemently opposed to the unconstitutional gun-grab recently enacted by the NYS government.

Remington IS in the business of selling things to the people targeted by the state government they have reaffirmed in their decision to remain. To borrow from Robert Frost... And that has made all the difference.

I hope you can understand the distinction, and that I have adequately explained it.

BTW - The emotional ploy of trying to equate individuals with companies, who by definition exist for very different reasons, is an annoying liberal tactic. Not a complaint, really, but I didn’t want you to think I missed it.

And that's your decision but I will not willingly support ANY company that aids the enemies of the Constitutional Republican form of government that I believe in. I live in Ohio and I`m doing ALL I can to move.

The gun companies are special cases, if they can`t show the resolve to stand for our Constitution, given all that stands between them and bankruptcy IS the Constitution, then why should I go out of my way to support them?

Or is it that they ARE to be one of the priviledged few ALLOWED to opperate under the new tyranny? The armory of despots? Well then not only will I not patronize them, they can kiss my conservative ASS, eat shit, die and go straight to hell and rot!
