GUTHRIE, Okla. One person was shot and killed Thursday on Guthries east side.
Police said a homeowner opened fire on a naked intruder who stunned the family after breaking through a back door.
That homeowner told police his family was asleep when they first heard banging at the door.
He loaded his weapon and shot the man when he walked into the kitchen and lunged at him.
The victims name hasnt been released but they said hes a white male in his 40s who lives in the area.
Officials said the suspected intruder may have been suffering from mental health issues.
Police found evidence the back door was pried open.
They said the homeowner acted in self defense so charges against him are not likely.
Correction: a dead white male.
They're fixed now.
Good bless this homeowner for ending the poor man’s suffering!
Why is it women never get naked and break in?
They do, but you never hear about them.......
It appears that the "victim" described here is the intruder, not the father who had to use deadly force to protect himself and his family.
I am SO tired of this BS from the media!!!
Sleepwalker with no Dr Dentons...... Bang !
“the suspected intruder may have been suffering from mental health issues?”...That has been resolved.
“Why is it women never get naked and break in?”

Dude, it happens all the time. It’s just that such “intruders” are never shot or reported to authorities. And once these naked ladies find out that they can get away with it, they become repeat offenders—and their victims never seem to learn that the intrusive behavior will continue if they don’t report it.
He doesn't anymore....
“hey do, but you never hear about them.......”
This is my rifle...
This is my gun...
He loaded his weapon and shot the man when he walked into the kitchen and lunged at him.
I noticed the wording of the article, and was wonderin' if Guthrie Oklahoma gun laws criminalize the loaded storage of a firearm?
In California urban areas, the authorities try to get a home defender to indicate the firearm was stored loaded so they can charge him criminally, working around California's Castle Doctrine law.
My Eyes... my eyes!!!
Officials said the suspected intruder may have been suffering from mental health issues.

Relieved of his suffering.
Speaking from personal experience, it is a royal pain to get through a solid wooden, much less a metal door with one of these installed. You have to practically break apart the entire door, making god-awful noises, and giving anyone inside the better part of a minute or two to prepare themselves. If, of course, you have the tools to break apart the entire door, which few naked, drug-addled psychopaths typically do.
what if the door opens out? Most new building codes require that.
we had a drunk/drugged out dude try to break into our house naked- he couldn’t and slipped into out unlocked van and crapped all over everything- fortunately we didn’t have to shoot the poor slob- becasuse he didn’t make it into the house- but it was unnerving to say the least- He later died from overdose a few years later
