People who believe in freedom, liberty, the constitution, small government have almost no representation in this government.

Marco Rubio's allegiance is to his race rather than his country.

Of course he will.

What a tool.

And you’re right, we have few allies, not enough to matter at all.

I’ve known for a while now that Rubio is a fraud. No surprise here.

You need to know how this comes about. Rubio and the gang of 8 have lined up with CPac/ ACU’s Grover Norquist and the South Poverty Law Center to push this amnesty and destroy all active anti amnesty groups.

Grover vs. ‘the Bitter Enders’(Grover trying to give Rubio political cover)

Southern Poverty Law Center Finds Fewer Militias, Hypes Militia Threat Anyway (FR mentioned)
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3006724/posts?page=7#7

[snip]At the heart of the attack is the accusation that the leading members of some groups critical of immigration policy were or still are environmentalists and liberals. This attack piggybacks on earlier work by the Southern Poverty Law Center that used some of the same information to accuse those groups of being tied to Neo-Nazi and White Supremacist groups. There’s something rather strange when “conservative sites” not only begin advocating for illegal alien amnesty, but begin repeating the claims that the Center for American Progress, Mother Jones and the Southern Poverty Law Center were making about anti-immigration groups 5-10 years ago. The same Norquist tactics being used to attack the anti-immigration movement can and will be used to attack the Counterjihadist camp.

it could permanently damage the Republican’s brand with conservatives

Could? Not could - will. It's probably time to move behind Rand Paul (unless Sarah starts organizing a formal campaign NOW). Paul's not perfect, not by a long shot, but I think he'll be ready and good enough in 2016. At least he's not a moron or a traitor. I'm down to Paul, Palin, Ryan, or nothing - I'm already retired for political reasons and I'm going Galt 100% and letting the socialists feed themselves without my help if the GOP runs another RINO against another far left tyrant.

Yet another attempt by a Republican to pander to a certain electorate demographic, which is futile, unless the politician is going to send handouts of Taxpayer money to them.....that’s all we have today in Politics: pandering and handouts of other-people’s money to buy votes for re-election.

"The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men."

Rubio is planning a media blitz to promote the bill — which is expected to be released early next week — making the rounds on all of the Sunday political talk shows starting this weekend, wooing skeptical conservative radio hosts

I would pay cash money to hear Rush Limbaugh tell Marco Rubio to take a long walk off a short pier.

Rubio is going to commit political suicide with his immigration stance. Which is fine with me because he is not ready to be President and IMO does not have the gravitas to be President. Plus he is likely not eligible.

Good. Time to separate the wheat from the chafe.

The people to support will only people the politicians against amnesty.

It is not surprising that Rubio supports amnesty over country. He built his entire political life hispandering.

Rubio is Nobio to me. I will not support him, I will not vote for him.

Dole, Bush, Bush, McCain, Romney, Rubio—they can keep them coming. But I’m not buying.

Well, Since we were screamed at by a number of Freepers that, and I quote, “Principles don’t matter” “Purists are killing this country” and other words of sage ...ahem...conservative wisdom, I am looking forward to all said freepers coming out and loudly defending Rubio and the GOP on each and every one of the many threads on this subject.

You know...to be consistent, rather than displaying situational ethics. Like liberal Democrats.

Anyone want to place bets on the level of silence from said freepers?

Rubio was also among the lawmakers who joined Obama for his second closed-door dinner on Wednesday, just two days ago.

I don’t see Rubio ever living in the White House.
