Among errands today, I went and gave blood. The lady that did the sticking did such a good job, the blood squirted all over. Better than my last stick...they only have 15 minutes to get the pint, and it took just about all of that. Today was really quick.

I've been under the weather the last couple of days - some bug going around. Mrs. MacNessa had it last week and I have it now.

Our temps are back down into the 50's, but the heat wave we had mid-week wreaked havoc on my daffodils.

I'm doing my income taxes - absolutely hideous! The expiration of the Bush tax-cuts has really hurt us.

We're doing the steaks tomorrow evening - making a run to Sam's Club after Mass to buy some thick-cut New York Strips.
