Last paragraph sums it all up. But it is depressing to contemplate how much pandering the GOP is really engaged in. Explaining economic reality to the voters of tomorrow? Nobody in the GOP got time for dat.

"Behind the Violence, Says Jane Alpert, Was Sex"--November 09, 1981--
"The leaders of the Weather Underground, she believes, followed a similar pattern of constantly shifting sexual alliances..."http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20080637,00.html
"He [Bill Ayers] also writes about the Weathermen's sexual experimentation as they tried to 'smash monogamy.' The Weathermen were 'an army of lovers,' he says, and describes having had different sexual partners, including his best male friend."

Campus Wars: The Peace Movement At American State Universities in the Vietnam Era
"What happens next bears watching closely, as does the response of the president, ex-Speaker Pelosi, and others on the left. Encouraged by leftists in the Democratic Party and funded by left-leaning nonprofit organizations and celebrity contributors, Occupy Wall Street may in time morph into something resembling the radical factions of the late 1960s and 1970s."

It is pretty much mathematically impossible at this point to pay off the debt whatever your age or income, nothing to do with being young in particular.
“Some people inherit stars in their eyes
Oh, they worry about the poor
When you ask them ‘How much should we give?’
They just answer ‘More! More! More!’
It ain’t me, it ain’t me babe, I ain’t no liberal’s son!
It ain’t me, it ain’t me babe, I ain’t had no Ivy League fun!”
Justice Roberts is only the most recent addition to the long list of republican appointees to the Supreme Court who turned on their benefactors and supported liberal positions on bellwether issues.
His twisted rationalization in support of Obamacare is probably the most mind-boggling, maddening abuse of Judicial power since Roe v. Wade.
Eisenhower publicly supported lowering the voting age to 18 in his 1954 State of the Union address.
But it was Richard Nixon who signed an extension of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 that required the voting age to be 18 in all federal, state, and local elections.
George “Dubya” Bush created the bureaucratic montrosity known as Homeland Security. A Federal organization that now is more obsessed with demonizing and stifling law abiding, patriotic citizens than in protecting our borders and countering foreign terrorists.
Had Romney competent advisers, this would have been a major campaign issue Dems always try to dupe the youth (see my tagline) and we foolishly voted against not just our own interests, but the country’s interests at large. Now we see the tangled web we helped weave. Kids today are going to get slammed with these deficits and the impending ones with social security and medicare, student loans, credit cards, housing and who knows what else. Oh well, and immigration’s impacts too. Wake up, Youth of America

Actually, the young do not need anyone to wage war against them. By worshiping obama, hitching their plow to his star, and overwhelming voting for him in two consequitive elections, they are doing a pretty good job of doing themselves in.
There’s much of that history in Ks.

Kind of silly to call it a war against the young, when the young are the ones most solidly voting for the pols implementing and defending the policies.
I agree our message must be for a fair economy. We must define fairness on the grounds of equality of opportunity.
Lots of my fellow Gen Yers are this way because they simply don’t know any better.
Cold War was a faint memory as tykes, raised on a gluttonous diet of empty “You’re all a winner” platitudes, and the dot-com boom with all kinds of fancy new technology.
Sure the educational system is garbage, but a lot of kids didn’t have parents that cared at home, so long as they got good grades so they can be vicariously successful through their kids. Others were simply too immature getting high or drunk to bother parenting.
I think there’s a general sinking feeling that they’ve been lied to for so long, but it’s hard to tell whether certain individuals will accept that or live in denial by voting for more Obammunism.
Remember this saying?
“When you are 20 and is not a liberal, you have no heart. When you are 40 and is not a conservative, you have no brain.”
