Palestinian Authority Arabs have accused Jews from Bat Ayin of carrying out a price tag attack last week on an old Arab farmers vineyard and olive grove.
The accusation came in a report published on the website of the Stop The Wall organization under the self-described Palestinian Grassroots Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign, subtitled Settlements, Land and Resource Theft, Destruction of Land.
According to the report, residents of the Judean Jewish community of Bat Ayin allegedly cut and destroyed dozens of trees on the land of farmer Hamad Abdul Hamid Jaber last Thursday morning, including 55 grape vines, 1 quince tree and 45 olive trees, two of which were more than 30 years old.
The alleged attackers also reportedly wrote slogans calling for a price to be paid and death to the Arabs, although the article posted on the site does not say in which language these epithets were written, nor where the slogans appeared, or whether they were painted, or scrawled with a marker.
Settlers hurled insults and death threats in Arabic at the farmer, Hamad, which were captured on camera, the report continued but no video clip documenting this accusation is posted on the site.
The article does not mention whether Israeli or Palestinian Authority security personnel were called to the scene -- or if they were, what occurred upon their arrival.
Hamad was working on his land... when the surprise attack and stones thrown by the settlers forced him to retreat. Once the settlers left, he returned to his land to view the damage and the huge losses he sustained.
There are no photos posted on the site to document the damage in the 78-year-old farmers field, nor any photos of the past damage the article accuses residents....

Why don’t the stupid leftist ask the Fogel Family if they think this is important..
It is either a lie or it was Pales who did it.
They attacked Minnie Pearl? Bastids!
Previous Arab claims of "olive tree destruction", with purported "photographic evidence", have revealed nothing more than vigorous pruning -- a proper management exercise that the Arabs who own the groves likely performed themselves.
Historically, the Western media -- ignorant of silviculture practices -- has taken these stories at face value.
I would expect more of Arutz Sheva than I would of The Guardian or the New York Times, however.
Beat me to it. If it’s the olive-tree libel, it must be pruning season.
probably a lie
but even if this one time it happens to be correct,
it only shows how much better everyone would be if the musleems would move to any of the 57 musleem countries of their choice
I think the entire world is tired of their antics in Israel (always attacking and bombing... from within and without)
history says they should move the crummy 30 miles to the 2/3 of mandatory “palestine” controlled by their friends and families (called “Jordan”)
but MY vote would be to assist them... to move to the very farthest-away mulsem country possible ....
and then maybe the world (except NorKor) may quiet down a little bit for awhile
Of course it’s a lie.All these so-called ‘price tag’ attacks are done by Arabs. But even if Jews did do it, so what? It’s all their land. It’s like a squatter in your home complaining if you remove tomatoes he planted in your yard.
This is a pic of one of the damaged olive trees
Nice... except that the pic comes from the Samaria Residents' Council. Bat Ayin is NOT in Samaria.
Does it mean “Daughter of A?”
(both Aleph and Ayin can be transliterated as A, no?)..although neither is a vowel by Western standards...
Grapevines were involved, as well.
And what happens to grapevines this time of year?
They get pruned!
Perhaps, the residents of Bat Ayin were just trying to help out their neighbor, ol' Hamad.
Just another non-story...
Anyone with any kind of sense has to know that had this been true they would have started a riot over it on the spot .
The pallies seem to be very good at three things ...
rewriting history
bearing false witness against their neighbors
destroying life
Idiomatic for eye pupil.
“I think the entire world is tired of their antics in Israel (always attacking and bombing... from within and without)”
I take it you don’t correspond with any residents of continental Europe. To them, we’re the bad guys, fascists, criminals. We’re endangering them all with our official policy of forcibly evicting all Palestinians from their ancient homeland. No Jooos! ever set foot in Israel until after the Holocaust, which might or might not have happened. The “West Bank” is just a river bank, very narrow and with limited land and resources that we are stealing from the poor peaceloving Palis...Blahblahblahblahblah...
Actually, grape vines are pruned in February. Right now, the new growth is just getting started, and it would be destructive to prune them. Don’t know when olive trees are pruned, though. I work part of the day in summer months in an olive grove. No pruning going on right now. But even so, the entire story is bogus. No word of any arrests or questionings in Bat Ayin yesterday. I’m home for Independence Day today.
In this world, all we can do is try to charitably correct such hateful, unjust “thinking.” (In the next world, anti-Semites will burn in hell. The Church knows this and is trying its best to teach a more positive, Biblically correct message. But quite frankly the Church is losing most of Europe these days, too. God isn’t very “popular” in Europe anymore, as the people there think they don’t need Him for anything any longer (or, worse, they join Satanic cults/Islam/whatever. The ones who aren’t falling into such directly anti-Christ heresies still prefer a pagan lifestyle and think they know it all without need of God or His Church. So, my friend, you must remain faithful. And “be strong and of good courage, for He is with you” even without much of Europe. All blessings to you, (an do say a prayer for the poor lost Europeans if ypuu can manage it. Prayer helps ) fhc
