I wrote a long email to both of my senators, Isakson and Chamblis. I outright called Chamblis a traitor and hoped that Obama would tax away everything that he stole while he was in Congress (he’s not running again).
I told Isakson that he has cemented my resolve to oust him when he runs in 2016, either by voting for his primary challenger, or voting for the Democrat that will run against him. In the case of his primary challenger, I said I’d give his opponent the maximum I could contribute.
Both are effing RINOs and a disgrace to America.
There is a good general pre-composed letter at the GOA link. In addition to the emails I’ve sent, it won’t hurt to use the one at the link as well. Keep the pressure on. No turning back and no compromise. Period! Not that it will do much good in a lot of cases.
I’m aghast.
The Sarah Palin supported so-called conservative Senator Ayotte from NH voted for this abomination.
The known, flaming leftist Jeanne Shaheen did not.
Amazing!
My guess is that Ayotte is star-struck by jerks like McPain and Pansy Graham, while Shaheen is showing herself to be more politically astute.
Just another pair of whores pissing on the Constitution from the PA seats.

There is a paragraph in Obamacare called explicitly Protection of Second Amendment Rights. Youll find it in Section 2716 part c of the Affordable Care Act. The Toomey-Manchin proposal attempts to nullify that so your MD can deny you RKBA without appeal or due process.

Time to start putting amendments in this bill, such as universal reprocity of conceal carry licenses, just like driver licenses. Lift the 1986 machine gun ban. I can think of more amendments if the Senators need ideas, but these two are a good start.

Dear Lord, guide our course.
Tatt
he can put 1,000 “goodies” into the bill but it still continues (and expands) the fed govt’s involvement in regulating, restricting, limiting, screening, and infringing our Constitutional Right to bear arms
about the only good thing I can say for what he’s doing.. is that he may succeed in loading up the bill with so much stuff that it won’t pass (this being one well-known legislative strategy)... but if that’s his plan then why would he (be so stupid as to) be bragging about it?
if he wants to do something good, he should find a Congresscritter to introduce a bill to repeal all existing laws infringing on our right to bear arms
a nice one sentence bill would do just fine
then let’s see which Congresscritters honor their Oaths of Office, and which do NOT
I’ll see who’ll be Anti-2nd Amendment on Tuesday. I know I’m going to fight for my rights!!
I’m stuck with the aptly named Jeff Flake and that poster boy for senility, John McCain. Every time I write them, I get a quick non-specific boilerplate reply from Flake and nothing at all from McCain (bluddy peasant!).
After the mess Nixon got himself into, you couldn’t find a Republican who would admit they voted for him. I’m running into the same phenomena among my gun owning friends regarding McCain.
Rep. Paul Gosar, on the other hand, replied in detail and came out unequivocally against any of the proposed legislation.
Representatives are still in touch with the people. The Senators think of themselves as in the House of Lords.
Politician. Rope. Lamp post. Some assembly required.
Where’s the guy from Montana who wrote me that Baucus and Tester would never vote for gun control?
