I believe the Haslams are muslims.

They're Christians. The father at least is associated with the Episcopal Church. One son is the Republican governor of Tennessee, and the other is CEO of Pilot Flying J and last year became owner of the Cleveland Browns.

California doesn’t have Flying J’s? No Pilots? There are 6 Flying J’s and 12 Pilots in California. They all dispense fuel for cars and trucks. And btw these guy’s are not Muzzies. It pays to read the article before posting, FRiend. California has way too many low information voters, don’t you be one. :)

The family name may sound it but all the first names do not, nor do they look any bit Arabic.

Noticed gas prices went down dramatically last week here in East Tennessee. Funny how prices went down as an investigation kicked up.
Probably related to price fixing.

"It seems to be IRS related. There was a recent shuffle of higher ups and a new CEO brought in from outside the family."

That new CEO was John Compton, formerly of Pepsico. He lasted 5 months! Jimmy Haslam came running back so fast it would make your head swim. Definitely something rotten in Denmark as the old saying goes. You can bet Mr. Compton is really glad he got out of that mess FAST.

East Tennessee gas and diesel fuel wise is served by the regional HUB {Tank Farm} on Middlebrook Pike in Knoxville. Of the six or seven terminals I think Pilot owns one. Price fixing under those circumstances would be difficult because a lot of Independents operate in East Tennessee as well as several major names.

Don't get me wrong I am not a Haslam fan nor a customer of Pilot gasoline. I buy at fuel Weigel's if I possibly can. :>} I refuse to put Pilot Brand fuel in my vehicles. It's not for political reasons but the darn stuff ends up causing me problems. Or rather just by chance when I buy gas there my vehicle acts up.

That said I am skeptical about the raid due to timing of Haslam's turning down the expansion of Medicaid {one of the few things I agree he's done right}. Tennesseegirl wasn't Pepsico connected to the Obama campaign? I have no dogs in this fight. I voted for Two Feathers Whittaker for governor. How this unfolds will be interesting to say the least.

If he isn’t muslim he likes them a lot...and this woman he appointed wants sharia law.

“ It is time that the citizens of Tennessee cast a wary eye on Governor Haslam, who harbors aspirations for higher office in this land, and raise questions about his current appointments with questionable international Islamist connections.”

It’s also a ranch and a pizza joint.

You might want to look deeper. Pilot Oil was started by the governor's dad Jim Haslam in 1958 when he purchased a small gas station on the Tennessee-Virginia state line. Haslam Sr came to Knoxville in the late 1940's from Detroit where he was born to go to UT. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Haslam The name Haslam is English in origin not M.E. nor Arabic.

Now politically I don't care for Bill Haslam nor his ties to Liberals like the current mayor of Knoxville-D nor association with U.S. Senator Bob Corker-R-TN. Despite that he is no where near being the disaster our last Republican governor was. Haslam is held in check by a GOP super majority at the state Legislature level.

Haslam is an English name...to do with a particular tree

The notion TN ...a very solid state ...would elect a Muzzie anywhere outside a Memphis ghetto is absurd

Back a few years ago Flyin’ J stops were clean. I’ve never been in a clean Pilot.
