This comes from a trusted source on today’s Boston bombings:
From a cop friend in Boston– A former partner says there was a reporter at the hospital in Boston. She overheard police saying they have video of the suspect dropping bombs into the garbage cans.
Cops will never admit that have a suspect in custody until they are ready. If they call him a suspect you must read him his Miranda rights.
An eight year-old child was killed in one of the blasts.

You don’t carry out an investigation by blabbing everything you know. What exactly would be the purpose of that?
It’s very unlikely that the actual investigators are talking to reports. Most of the misinformation on these things come from 2nd and 3rd hand info gleaned in bits and pieces by officials not involved in the investigation. They are usually unimportant people who want to feel important. They are media whores.
All these leaks do is confuse the event and provide fodder for endless speculation in the media and on message boards.
We need to give the investigation a bit of time to settle before we draw conclusions. This endless rush to talk to reporters is counterproductive to a good investigation and I promise you the investigators feel like that. They are hopefully focused on facts.

Bomb dogs. They can smell explosives easily. Just run a few dozen of those up and down the street.
If there is more than one suspect, I hope they only arrest one of them. The others should be turned over to the Boston mob, who would “ritually” prepare them, before sewing them up in pigskins, and delivering them to a radical mosque.
Justice is a funny thing that way. Sometimes the old ways are best.
I agree. Lets be honest shall we? There are a considerable number of people on this site who want investigators talking more for one reason... they want to hear that the bomber(s) is a Muslim. Period. They want that information out right away, and the longer it takes the more they’ll be convinced its a conspiracy and that the police are trying to cover up Muslim involvement. The hyperventilating is palpable.

I have yet to see an administration worthy of trust.
From some reports, they may have even been on duty. There have been several articles that had the bomb dogs checking the start and finish lines before the race (common for big events).
Obama has asked Boston to accept help from Chief Charles Alexander Moose, if he offers. /?
It was a worker at the marathon - thus workplace violence.

Thank God for cameras... My fear - - one of these days they won't catch the nuts - and we'll be blamed. It could get ugly... CNN was so ready today they could taste it ...
