Don’t know if markets respond to one guy but he may have a valid concern that the markets are responding to. I think gold will do well in the long run past intervening crises. The only thing that will stop gold is sound money from the Fed and that’s not going to happen for the foreseeable future (need a new Volker plus a new Reagan to restore the economy).

An article back last year stated Apple has the capability of remotely shutting down any of its products in a geographic location, and would do so at the behest of Fedzilla, especially in a no-free-speech zone around Odinga...

No. Its a very expensive area of Boston named The Back Bay. Seeing a lone person, two people, a hundred people on a roof top on Marathon Monday is nothing new at all.
You walk down the street and see people in the oddest angles, roofs and say ‘ How the hell did they get up there ‘. People used to get on my own roof using fire escapes for a better view.
There is a massive amount of partying going on - massive. It lasts all day and well into the night. Some lone guy getting on his roof to take a look around is nothing. But if you are unfamiliar with the entire scene it might come across as threatening.

Nobody knows what the hell colors the guy was wearing because the photo was taken so far away. brown, burgundy, dark blue or maybe black.
Besides, one of the most popular items of dress in this town is a black ‘ North Face ‘ fleece or pull over. You see them EVERYWHERE. Guys wearing dark North Face, girls wearing black Yoga Pants - its like some Boston uniform.

Whoever pushed the button could be ANY individual seen in ANY image of the event, or ANY individual one or two or twenty blocks away and seen in NO image of the event.
But since this happened on April 15, it was certainly done by a right-wing, gun-toting, Tea Party Bagging, anti-choice, homophobic, racist, Republic-voting, Christian-fundamentalist extremist.
And most likely a NASCAR fan too. With an NRA sticker on his pickup.

Huh?...the cops were already there, Geez...almost all of BPD...no one needed to call 911...
Their radio’s, EMS and Fire would be unaffected....
Methinks the cell towers were already close to overloaded, if not there. Many more people than normal. The phones just need be on & in range (phones check in with the tower periodically).
There were numerous reports that 911 was flooded with calls from people on the scene immediately following the bombs going off - independent from the already on-scene response personnel.
