I, too, miss 24. But, we still have NCIS! It, and NCIS LA, are the only two network shows I watch anymore.
I digress. Family Guy is still a funny show, in syndication, but too irreverent at times. But then again, that's what makes it funny.
Yet if men are “the head of the household”, why do the wives become the managers in regards to controling the checkbook.

There is no way that’s possible...it takes almost a year to produce one of their episodes.
I like NCIS a lot. Just so you know, that new agent is a pillow biter. That pissed me off, no reason for more homo crap. Especially since the main audience is an older crowd.
It aired three weeks ago. Peter wins by running over participants in his car.
Yeah, someone edited the clips. Then the tin foil hats come out.
More people would distrust cats...most of the cartoons back in the 50s/60s had cats as bad guys.
Yeah, they introduced him a couple of years ago. Wonder if they’ll introduce his boyfriend/husband/wifey-husband? But, as I’m understanding it, this is NCIS’s last season.
I sure hope they don’t introduce any “partner”.
The show has been on a long time. It’s probably good to wrap it up before it gets stale.
Okay, but what's the downside?
Just read that they renewed for an 11th season.
Feline Americans all over the country could rise up and...armageddon, cat-style
My kids are in college. I am sometimes surprised when they are home and I see what they are watching.
In the past four years they transitioned from “16 and Pregnant” (a ridiculous show) to actually watching the news—and commenting on it.
Both of them have told me they are stunned at how ignorant their peers are about current events. And how hardly any of them can form an opinion with any critical thought.
I think we need to be able guide our children. Provide them with a good foundation and trust that they will “male it” on their own.
I’m not surprised. I was looking up something online to use for teaching. I found a site called eNotes. It’s really a good tool, until you get to the history section. A book being used was written by Howard Zinn, noted communist.
Of all the great mysteries in life, one that continues to stump me is why Rush Limbaugh continues to voluntarily participate in producing this animated sewage.
Can’t be that he needs the money.
I agree. Started out being funny now is just vulgar.
