I have honestly been SHOCKED that since 9-11 more of this hasn’t been happening.

You don’t need some massive plot and airplanes and/or nukes to destroy us, a few hundred people spread evenly across the US acting independently after getting their initial orders could shut down the whole US in fear with nothing more than simple explosives like this made from everyday items like a pressure cooker.

Ahh, yes. I recall our receptionist nearly refused an odd looking envelope because she feared it might contain anthrax. Turns out it contained a $38,000 check we had been waiting on for weeks.

That is not the intent. It's the disruption and the insertion of fear and the following demands to DO SOMETHING so "this" never happens again.
