Harry Reid will get his vote and Harry Reid WILL NOT VOTE for it. He wants to get reelected.
So Reid is proposing to limit the Military to semi auto weapons and ten round magazines? He must be targeting the Military because the general public is already forbidden the possession of assault rifles.

And, also supported by the NRA in this past election. This fact is the sole reason I canceled my NRA membership. They couldn't see through this guy, the weasel that he is?

Sen Mancin just said on C-span that you could walk into any gun show and buy a full auto rifle with no question asked.
My take on it, too. He's not concerned about reelection.
And he wants to see a Navy ship or gov't office building to be named after himself, and not the anoscopy suite at Walter Reed.
Could happen Some of those folks in Nevada get pretty salty.
I think he’s trying to allow the Red State Democratic senators a way out. They can vote against this, because it’s too extreme, and NOT antagonize those of their constituents who support “common sense gun safety legislation.”
