As the Senate debated the merits of an assault-weapons ban, an emotional Dianne Feinstein urged her colleagues to show some guts and vote in favor of the measure.
I am really chagrined and concerned. If anybody cares, vote at least to prospectively ban the manufacture, the sale, the importation of military-style assault weapons, she said in remarks on the Senate floor.
Feinstein is the author of the assault-weapons ban, which was defeated earlier today by a margin of 60 to 40. The compromise on background checks introduced by GOP senator Pat Toomey and Democratic senator Joe Manchin was also defeated, 5446.

They did show guts Ms. Fienstein. They chose to stand up for the Second Amendment, against anti-Constitutionalists.
Sit down and shut up you moron.

Those who voted “NO” DID show some guts Diane and defeated that unnecessary legislation.
Don’t worry folks, they will be back with more and more until they get their end result, full confiscations.
Now, Biden opens his fly trap and claims they plan to go forward with their original plan WITHOUT the law passing.
Time to remove that tin hat.

The worst interview heard this week so far was Barney Frank’s comments to CNN the morning after the Boston attack. He said the lesson to take from this terror attack was that big government is what makes this country great, as illustrated by all the government agencies working together after the bombing.
Of course, that spitting fool never admitted that the federal government is a worthless enterprise if all it can do is clean up the debris after failing to keep its citizens safe from attack, its major constitutional duty.

Dianne, I have bad news for ya. The problem is, your fellow Senators DID show some guts today. They actually stood up for the rights of the American people for a change. And good for them...including the DEMS who helped in that decisive, bipartisan defeat handed to your AWB.

As I said elsewhere, I feel that Dianne needs to “show some guts,” in the ritual fashion of past Japanese leaders who, upon such a total failure, atoned for their failure via seppuku (also called harakiri)? .
Dianne, Show some guts!
