The Senate delivered a devastating blow to President Obama’s agenda Wednesday by defeating a bipartisan proposal that would have expanded background checks on gun sales. It failed by a vote of 54-46, short of the necessary 60. A handful of Democrats voted against it and only four Republicans supported the measure backed by the White House. The vote effectively halted gun control in the upper chamber.

And in the meantime, before that “long dead” thing happens, you and I - all of us - have a duty, obligation, and responsibility to be training and educating a New generation of Gunnies and schooling them in their rights and obligations as Citizens. And showing them who the good guys are and who bad guys are, and how to tell them apart.
Take kids to the range. Make it a priority. Take ladies, young, elderly, in between, and teach them to shoot, and let them get the understanding of what it means to be able to protect yourself - and who it is that is trying to see that that never happens, so they vote accordingly in every election.
We’re not as temporary as we think we are; what we do, what we say, all that we are, is-does-and-will impact those that come after we are gone.
The other side has been subverting us for decades. And they STILL lost yesterday because people have been hammering the critters on the phone, by mail, by email.
This isn’t over by a long shot.
The Dems never let anything die? Sure. But neither will we.

This is exactly what this side needs. After the election and the no-win tax bill the Dems including his Highness himself concluding that Obama was all powerful and could turn water into wine and command the Sea's part. Obama believed it too.
Meanwhile of the GOP side the word was it was over and we might as well kill each other.
So the GOP sorely needed some wins.
And this one was sweet.
The Dems here at work are shocked and upset but I am trying to show sensivity as always rather than gloat BAHAAHAHA.
