If I remember right, one was for money to schools to update security measures (like every classroom to have a door that locks), and to educate teachers/officials to spot students with possible mental problems so they can be evaluated. That was not to evalute adults, but students.
[[and to educate teachers/officials to spot students with possible mental problems so they can be evaluated. ]]
That’s dangerous to do- as we’ve seen, teachers ‘traiend to spot violence’ and told to excersize ‘zero tolorance’ are suspending young girls the age of 8 for bringign bubble guns to school, young boys around 7 or so for ‘pointign hteir finger liek a gun’
IF teachers are ‘trained’ under a ‘zero tolorance’ policy- many many kids will ‘fit the profile’
In my humble opinion, every day this mob wakes up in Sodom on the Potomac it is a danged shame.
That amendment passed by unanimous consent, all Dems and Reps agreed to this amendment. Training would eliminate, not increase, the frenzy of reaction to finger guns, etc. of young elementary students.
