She’s bigger than a pug or boston terrier. The way she likes to play tug-of-war, I think she might be part pit bull - lol.

Holy Carp on the first one.

The second one must be from a Keeper Of Odd Knowledge.

That was probably a high pressure ammonia tank blowing up.

Do they keep that in train transport tank cars, or pump it into large farm tanks for storage? I’ll do some checking.

Took a look at some of the pictures from that TX plant explosion. Looks massive.

2/3 of tat little town is wiped-out. The final death and injury count is going to be huge, out of a population of ~2,800.

For farm use, it’s typically a tank on wheels, pulled behind a tractor. The ammonia is injected into the soil.

Here’s one that blew out.

None of the local news reporters seem to know the difference between ammonia and ammonium nitrate. If this had been AN, the whole town of West would be a crater.

We never used it on our Farm, for fertilizer. There were other, better, safer options. But I remember seeing train tank cars, 50-100 long, slowly moving thru the county just to the north, on their way east yo tank farms, where it was offloaded and stored.

Mix-in some diesel fuel, and it blows-up real good. All NH3 and (NH4)(NO3) require special licenses and permits since OKC, for all users.

I have not been able to get Mark on the internet for the past 3 days. While I click on his website, I receive the “Forbidden” warning! I think something is wrong with his website.

I was having the same problem when I tried to access his "audio rewind" podcasts. I think they may have revamped his site, so if you're using bookmarks they may no longer work. This link to his earlier shows worked for me today: audio rewind

I encountered the same problems. I believe his site is in the proces of being rewritten. Hopefully, the bugs will be worked out soon.

Thanks, I hope he gets it fixed. I got through on another link, listening on an Arkansas station (from Australia!)

I just heard him say that his live streaming was back on the air, but I just tried his website again and it still says “Forbidden”.
