August Busch IV, 46, was chief executive at Anheuser-Busch from 2006 until the maker of Budweiser, Bud Light and other beers was purchased by InBev in 2008.

I quit drinking their products after they sold the company to foreigners.

What is it about the grandkids ruining great businesses...Vanderbilts, Rockefellers, etc?

He’s in lockstep with Senator John McCain.

Wife Cindy McCain is the owner of the Budweiser distributorship in Phoenix, AZ.

Well, I’d have to buy a Bud so I could boycott his beer. Never liked it since the first one.

Didn’t buy their mud water anyway, so guess I can’t threaten to abandon them.

But, just on principles, Adolphus IV, shove it up your smelly Obama and keep it there.

Next time, I’ll bring my own...it’s the best!

Definitely better than Roller Dam Red :-)

His name is August. His middle name is Adolphus but no one calls him that. He’s either August or “the Fourth.”

Frankly I don’t see why his resignation is newsworthy, in the sense of being picked up by Forbes. Busch IV wasn’t on the NRA’s board. He was just a regular member. Who cares if he resigns — in a quarter that has seen the NRA’s net membership rise dramatically? (The answer is that the writer for Forbes is a huge gun-grabber, as the full article and his posts in its comments make quite clear.)

And no, this Bud’s not for me! I prefer to taste beer when I drink beer.

Pantywaist. Gun grabbing sympathizer. Beer is a perishable product. Boycotts mean product on the shelf goes bad and is an economic loss.

August (not Adolph(us)) may not be gay. After all, he’s ended up with more dead young ladies (in his car and in his house) than Ted Kennedy.
