“or (more likely) to rot in jail for the next 15 or 20 before they stick a needle in his arm.”
McVeigh was executed six years after the Oklahoma City Bombing.
Another citizen hero!
Haven’t been paying attention, have you?
Older brother joined jihad in 2009 (according to Uncle). Older brother had 6 months of terrorist training. As far as we know the younger had none. The old brother ran into gunfire, the younger surrendered. The older brother studied engineering, the younger was pre-med.
Lol. Don’t know but it will definitely have to be disclosed and will also impact the value and actually other houses close to it.
It will take an ACLU lawyer about an hour to get a loony judge to agree that the public safety exemption was a ruse and declare all his information tainted. Remember, Obamaâs pal, Bomber Ayersâ, was let go on a technicality too.He might never see a day of jail time and go right to Columbia.
How much more information does government need? What are they looking for they don't already know?
The family has already been questioned regarding possible terrorist activities in the past and one of these foreign criminals should have been deported at other crimes committed in the U.S. in 2009.
In addition, what kind of terrorist set off bombs in broad daylight, with cameras everywhere, and then walk a few blocks away and goes home?
Just guessing, but this does not seem too sophisticated.
On the bright side, bacon loving Americans.
As I recall, McVeigh waived a lot of appeals.
‘Good point, or, in 12 years hell receive a professorship and tenure at one of our universities.’
He can pal around with a future Democrat president....
Seems like there’s plenty of evidence. His confession isn’t needed so lack of Mirandizing couldn’t spring him.
I figured that if he was not caught, you could follow the concentration of flies in a few days to his body.
Turn him over to Putin’s folks and let them interrogate him. I expect they can be a bit more ‘efficient’.
That is a very good question. Really, if the homeowner hadn't searched his own backyard, the guy might not have been located. Apparently the LEOs didn't do even a cursory walk through search of the area. Yet they had nearly unlimited resources present, and certainly could have walked through Franklin street yards. A quick look at Google or Bing aerial data indicates that the area where terrorist #2 was found was close to the firefight, accessible by someone on foot, and a good hiding area.
Also, if he was really bleeding as much as has been reported, then it is surprising the LEO guys couldn't track him, particularly with canine teams.
Amid all the congratulations and back patting somebody should stand up and say that the terrorist was really captured because a civilian went out and searched his own yard. A great example of how security comes more from alert and prepared civilians than it ever does from the government.
McVeigh didn’t want to appeal, he wanted it done.
McVeigh was charged, sentenced and executed under Federal law. No federal crime I am aware of in this case; probably be state prosecution. I don’t believe MA has the death penalty. He did, however, kill an MA cop, or was a full accessory to it.
He’ll never get out of prison.
What orders? The fools didn’t even have money to get out of town. And they certainly didn’t show intelligence or have support in their escape attempt. The younger fool showed up at school. What orders?
You might elaborate on that a bit. Tell us about this CBS fairy tale.
How about a Republican president?
After 911 Bush allowed into the U.S. more Muslims than the previous two decades...
