Video warns military, too – D.C. lawmakers about to commit 'treason'
“This is a message to every member of law enforcement and the military,” a sizzling new YouTube video begins. “You know you have a choice to make.”
The video, produced by a man identified on Facebook as Aaron Hawkins, is a challenge to those who enforce America’s laws, warning them the day is coming when gun-control legislation will undermine the U.S. Constitution’s Second Amendment and police forces will be asked to restrict or even confiscate American citizens’ firearms.
On that day, the video warns, America’s lawmakers will have committed “treason,” and the nation’s police and military will be forced to choose “which side of history you’re going to be on.”
The video, titled “Police & Military – Time to Choose,” cites alleged offenses already enacted against the Constitution from both current and past presidential administrations, including the Patriot Act – which expanded the federal government’s use of domestic security and surveillance powers – and the National Defense Authorization Act – which many worry opens the door to indefinite detention of American citizens without trial.
“At this juncture in history, there can be no question that those holding the reins of power in Congress and the Senate and in the executive branch no longer represent the rule of law,” the video continues, “By destroying the Constitution with the Patriot Act and the NDAA and numerous other police-state measures, they have abandoned every shred of legitimacy and have made themselves into enemies of the people.”
Hawkins, who administers a site called StormCloudsGathering.com, paints the picture in stark terms, but says he hopes principled police and military will rather refuse to enforce the laws than permit a conflict over firearms turn to civil war.

Not getting mine. Although I’m part of the problem for getting my FOID card. It is unconstitutional, but it is illegal in Illinois to have a firearm without it. But no matter what they are not getting mine..

My condolences for being subjected to the FOID card. You are right it is unconstitutional. I wonder how many people have moved into Illinois over the years and carried everything with them, including firearms, and they’ve been sitting in people’s basements and attics for years.......no foid card....no concept of needing to get one.......out of site out of mind and “illegal” all these years. These kind of stupid laws are unenforceable.

The day confiscation starts more than the second amendment goes. That would break several amendment. That would start a civil war in which 300 million guns in the hands of the citizens would be fighting the blue helmets of the UN. There would be guerrilla warfare for years, decades. Our government thinks they can herd us into camps and install agenda 21 in the same swoop I think. It would be bloody.
Finally. Sooner or later a man may come and all H*ll will break loose against the trash the vice addicted trash has placed in power. This man is a small step in that direction.

Look at the bright side. In seven weeks your FOID card is probably going to be your Constitutional carry permit.
After the resolution of the latest demonstration of the ‘religion of peace’, I saw the coverage that Fox News gave of the adulation of the Boston populace towards the para-military local,state and other LEO entities. One of the things I found disturbing was this: the suggestion of a supposedly free people, who have voted in some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country,practically falling to their feet in adoration of some of the most heavily armed LEOs I have ever seen.
In all fairness the LEOs were doing what they were supposed to do - protecting the people from a rampaging bomb-throwing lunatic terrorist. That support would probably evaporate if the same LEOs were kicking in doors looking for contraband weapons, even in Mass.
