BATTLEFIELD USA: De Facto State of Martial Law Declared In Boston *Pics From the War Zone*

As news of last night’s incident in Watertown, Massachusetts spread, police from all over the North East converged, once again, on Boston. Along with them were elements of the National Guard and U.S. military.

Though an official announcement has not been made, and likely will not be made, the entire Boston metropolitan area is now in complete lock-down in what can only be described as a de facto state of martial law.

By all accounts, law enforcement and military personnel have classified Boston and surrounding towns a war-zone, especially after a gunfight yesterday evening that left one of the Boston Marathon Bombers dead and the other still at large. In a video of the early morning engagement, rapid gunfire and explosive detonations, believed to be more ‘pressure cooker’ bombs, can be heard as police and residents scrambled.

This has led to shelter-in-place orders being issued by officials, a widespread militarization of nearly a hundred square miles surrounding Boston, and deserted streets throughout the city.

Military personnel have reportedly been patrolling streets, performing door-to-door searches, and defusing or detonating suspected explosive devices.

Section 1031 of the controversial National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 effectively declares the United States a battlefield, suspends the U.S. Constitution and essentially allows the President, through the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. military, to deploy assets in this war zone as he sees fit:

Are you seriously saying that a man holding a firearm constitutes a turret with a weapon?

One of the things missing from this "Martial Law" incident was the lack of a dusk to dawn curfew.

This was a massive police operation to restrict the movement of the suspect and then do a search and arrest him. The police succeeded in restricting his movement because he stopped and hid in the boat. The police were getting ready to pull out when the boat owner called in and reported seeing something suspicious. The operation would have failed without that tip, and it is arguable if he might have been able to get someone to pick him up or if he would have bled to death first.

Shows you how easily we could militarize the Mexican border and shut down illegals and drugs coming over. Libs will violate The Posse Comitatus Act when it suits them.

Worth re-posting

Wait until a nuke goes off in downtown LA and see how fast the border will be locked down ...

At some point that will happen...

Those so-called patriots on the right who have ignored this action need to speak up. Many of those involved in this thought they were doing the right thing, but they will always be fooled into believing that. They will confiscate guns, and participate in all kinds of other unconstitutional actions with the same intentions. There are too many ignorant, and easily manipulated people throughout our society.

The law enforcement and military who just obey orders are a result of the same disease that's been slowly destroying us for years, and has created the cowering citizens who have no pride or shame. They not only lack the means to defend themselves, but they lack the will to defend themselves as well. They have no sense of personal responsibility for their own defense. Most are a lost cause at this point.

What would these good intentioned people had done if someone had refused a warrantless search of their home? A lot of Americans would have thoroughly checked out their own property, and kept a close eye on everything themselves. I doubt letting them know you already cleared your property would stop them from stepping on your Constitutional rights. If you put up any resistance you would just be murdered. There is nothing impressive in history when it comes to our law enforcement as a whole, whenever it's mobilized in these numbers. Many of the "elite" units seem to have gotten the elite gear without any of the elite training. They aren't showing strength with these displays, but easily exploited weaknesses instead. The DHS would probably exhaust their ammunition stockpiles by shooting huge amounts of it into surrounding buildings, cars, and innocent bystanders.

I believe the media is our biggest threat by a wide margin. I don't see a way to save our nation while it's allowed to air unconstitutional propaganda. It influences the actions of our military and law enforcement, and it will easily destroy any resistance movement by successfully painting it out as a terrorist group. It will use emotion, lies, and slander to destroy any resistance whatsoever; regardless of it's legitimacy. It will manipulate most into believing what it wants. No one will support a resistance that is seen as a terrorist group by the public. We can never initiate any violence, and we can't do much of anything else that will stop the huge leftist propaganda machine either. We have to find a solution if one even exist.

The city was completely subject to martial law and overrun with troops questioning everyone and doing door to door searches covering every square foot.
But the perp was found by an observant citizen.

When found the perp was shot at hundreds of times by professionals with “high power automatic weapons”.
But the perp was just slightly injured.

Theater indeed.

A single automatic weapon or mortar could take out this entire "platoon". It is obvious that they have no knowledge of deployment tactics. Either that, or they weren't actually worried that someone out there could shoot them.
