Since leaving office in 2009, former President George W. Bush has offered few political insights. But when it comes to his brother, Bush has a firm opinion: Jeb Bush is the best man to be president. “Yeah, he’d be the best candidate,” tells Parade Magazine in an exclusive interview published today. “I told him he ought to run, and he didn’t answer me. No, he’d be great.
“He’s got a proven track record. He was a governor of a big state. He’s very articulate. He could deliver a convention speech in Spanish. In my judgment, he’s right on the issues, [but] whether he runs or not, I have no idea.”
Bush made his remarks about his brother, former Fla. Gov. Jeb Bush, on the proverbial eve of the opening of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, located on the campus of Southern Methodist University, where his wife, Laura Bush once studied.
On April 25, the 43rd president will welcome President Obama, and his three living predecessors — Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Bush's father, George H. W. Bush — to the official dedication ceremony.
He and former First Lady Laura Bush offered their opinions – and thoughts – on a wide range of topics for Parade Magazine, including being grandparents, whether the U.S. is safer since Sept. 11, 2001 and the future of Iraq.

I cannot foresee any reason that would force me to vote for another Bush.
George W. cooked the Bushes' goose as far as any further political success is concerned.

President Bush is right. Jeb should run for president of Mexico and deliver his speeches in Spanish.

I think Rand would. He’s presidential material. I really think he’s solid. He’s not let me down anyway and I dont regret my support.
Very few politicians these days worth supporting.. Rand, Mike Lee, Cruz and Ron Johnson are the ones ive supported since 2010.

Although I have great respect for GWB I will never again vote for a Bush, NEVER! Who do these guys (the Clintons, the Kennedy’s, the Bushes) think they are? Royal families, Emperors, Kings? This is America, we held a Revolution to deliver us from ALL of these things! It is too bad, these would-be dynastic presidents have forgotten American HISTORY.

I remember that, too....it would have made more sense if GW had called them the religion of pieces, because that’s what happens to the innocent victims of terrorism.
I refuse to vote for ANY so-called Republican for ANY office who votes in support of the "Gang of eight'S" so-called "immigration (READ ILLEGAL ALIEN AMNESTY) reform" legislation, period!
Bush= 4.5% unemployment...small deficits
Obama= 10% unemployment....large deficits
We are not a banana republic.
