Could a white person use the word “negro” with impunity? I doubt it. But having said that, this is what happens when a black doesn't “stick together” with other blacks, they get berated by other blacks, like what happened to ET Williams. Yup. Too bad there aren’t more of his kind who have cast of their blinders and can actually see the forest through the trees. Once again, slaves to the man much like the slave owners slaves depended on the owner for everything. More of the current day folks need to cast off the chains of dependency and take responsibility. Would you accept "the best he can" from a mediocre doctor, a know nothing car mechanic, a restaurant with rotten food, a sub standard house builder?

I’ve known quite a few people with PhD’s and after trying to hold a conversation with them walked away shaking my head at their lack of understanding and a much lower opinion of the PhD process. There are lots of PhD’s that are smart as a whip but can’t put a sentence together that’s understandable.

Well put. Oldest daughter is getting ready to enter the PhD program for counseling. Yikes. Scary thought. But she’s getting in at 46 so maybe some of her life experience will help keep her straight. That and dad kicking her butt to make sure she does it right. LOL!
That was one of my misgivings about Herman Cain. It was OK for him to be conservative when he was just a private businessman. His black friends, extended family, and friends of extended family would just consider him odd to not be a Democrat. That would have changed had he actually won. He would have been a pariah to 95% of the black community, as would his family and any black friend who failed to denounce him publicly. The pressure would have been intense.
As much as I admire Alan West, he would encounter the same if he became a more high-profile elected official who tried to legislate or govern as a conservative Republican. The stress would be very wearying.
Or something useless ending in "studies".
