WASHINGTON Sen. Deb Fischer is headed back to the White House tonight for dinner with President Barack Obama.
Im a regular, the Nebraska Republican quipped as she arrived at the weekly Senate GOP luncheon in the Capitol.
Fischer was among a group of Republican senators who dined with Obama earlier this month. She also attended a reception there in March for Womens History Month.
The invite list for tonights dinner includes all 20 women in the Senate. Its a record number of women in what has long been a male-dominated club.
The group includes 16 Democrats and 4 Republicans. This dinner is only the latest step in a charm offensive Obama has been pressing in an effort to improve relations with Capitol Hill, particularly Republican lawmakers.
While Fischer and the Obama administration disagree on many of the prominent issues of the day, she said interaction is always good.
Im really happy to see the president is finally reaching out, she said.
We need to clean house.
Six of one, half a dozen of another. There’s not a dime’s worth of difference between any of them-—with a very few exceptions.
always IMHO, of course.
The Republicrat Party appears to be losing it’s way. They have rapidly become a party that’s of no use to us any longer.
THIRD PARTY.
Maybe we should wait to shout “Betrayal!” until she, y’know, betrays us?
That’s a good idea, and I’d add one more thing: political newbies like Deb (she’s brand new to Washington) will almost always fall prey to the glitz of being asked to the White House. Why people think somehow a magical third party, which would be full of political newbies, would somehow be different is beyond me.......
Who could sit at a civilized table with that islamist murderer?
obviously a meal is more important to her than actually serving her voters
We need to clean house.

You folks who feeled compelled to constantly shoot arrows at our conservative Republicans without the slightest bit of thought amaze me.
Deb Fischer is simply being “civil” (perhaps some of us here haven’t heard of that term) and is attending a function to which ALL FEMALE SENATORS have been invited. Let’s not be so quick to form circular firing squads, PLEASE!
I sometimes think that some posters in FR (and I’m NOT accusing you) are working for Soros and the DU and are intentionally spreading FUD whereever and whenever they can.
Oh, you’re no fun anymore. ;)
Oh, youre no fun anymore. ;)

I know—it’s been one of those days. Sarah Palin endorsed Deb Fischer and I don’t think Palin regrets that endorsement in the least. Fischer did us all a great favor by sending the opportunist Bob Kerrey back to academia in a landslide with his tail between his legs.
I’m getting weary of the constant warring between conservatives. Deb Fischer doesn’t deserve these shots.
I just want to say “Lighten up, Francis” to some of the folks who are on needless & misdirected rampages.
Sorry, I jumped the gun. The least I could have done is wait until she sells conservatives down the river : )
On FOX the other night, The panel was saying that Obama needs to put the hammer on these people, even if it means dragging out the Hillary files. In otherwards, use their dirt on them.
More like stupid women’s history month.
She also attended a reception there in March for Womens History Month.
(((
Anybody know when Men’s History Month is?
The least I could have done is wait until she sells conservatives down the river : )

Not a big deal. I don’t think she will—she’s not an overly ambitious, unscrupulous a**hole like Rubio is turning out to be with his Amnesty BETRAYAL. Politically, he’s dead to me and has proven to be one who we will have to prevent from achieving higher office at all costs.
Rubio turned out to be an enemy of America. We can get Democrats to do this.
